The group rushed to the courtyard as a fresh layer of snow covered the ground. "What are the teams?" Ron asked, dodging a snowball from Ginny.
"Me, George, Lee and Pia." Fred answered, pulling Cassie close to them.
Hermione spread her blanket across the wall, taking a seat as she adjusted her scarf. "Mione, are you sure you don't want to join?"
"Maybe in a bit Cass." She smiled.
"Okay so that leaves Ron, Ginny, Percy and Harry."
The teams separated to set up their own areas, George and Lee were quick to make a wall while Fred and Cassie began to make the snowballs. "Ready?" Hermione called out.
"Go!"
Cassie stood to throw when a snowball came flying towards her head, she narrowly avoided it and looked to see Percy sticking his head from behind his wall. "I see how it is Perc!" She yelled as she threw one back at him.
Unfortunately for Ron, Fred and George had both thrown to him, hitting him either side of his head. While Cassie collected more she spotted Harry sneaking out from the wall and took great pleasure in aiming for him, hitting him in the back of the head before she ducked down to avoid being seen.
While Fred and George aimed at their brothers and Harry, Cassie ran across to their side, grabbed Ginny and pulled her to their own team. "Good thinking" Lee commented, passing more snow to the girls.
"Where's Ginny?"
"Think she found a better team." Cassie laughed as she ran out, aiming the balls at Ron.
After abandoning their game Ginny and Hermione had started to make snow angels across the courtyard while everyone else ran around throwing snow at each other. Cassie crept up behind George before jumping up and dumping the snow on his head. "Cassss" he grumbled
She cackled as she ran towards Fred, pulling his arm so she was hidden behind him, before he could even question it he was hit with snow that was meant for her.
"Sorry Freddie." She laughed, brushing the snow from him as he turned to face her.
"So now I'm saving you from Bludgers and snow."
"My hero" She winked, causing him to laugh. "What would I do without you?"
He leant down to her height to whisper. "Let's hope we never find out." Seeing Percy aim for them he pulled them down, sending them rolling into their snow wall. ≻───── ⋆✩⋆ ─────≺
