"Emily! Hey what are you doing here?" "Walking cookie." "Oh I'm walking Pepper."

"Sweet, wanna walk together?" "Sure, Abby come on." "Ok."

Abby followed her sister as she walked with her friend.

After 2o minutes of talking she was getting bored so she began to wonder off, forgetting that her parents told her never to walk off if someone wasn't with you.

She realized she walked too far though, she didn't know where she was now, not the park but near a street.

"ALLY!" She began to cry as she saw people watching her. She wanted her daddy's bear hugs, she was most definitely a daddy's girl.

"D..Daddy, M..Mommy!" Suddenly looking up at the large gray building that had a big 1 and 2 at the top, She didn't know how to read but she knew numbers.

It read 12, "Daddy said mommy works at a building with the number 12 in front!"

Quickly running towards it she walked in and her eyes widened at all the cops.

Quietly dodging them all she ran towards a nice looking lady. "E..Excuse me."

Looking down the woman smiled and bent down. "Well hey there darling, what is a pretty little gal doing in here?"

"I..I'm lost." "Oh No, well I'm a cop, so how about we find your mom." "O..Ok."

Before she could ask another question the woman's name was called.

"Hastings, can you take this guys up to the homicide floor for interrogation." "not now, I gotta find this kid's parents."

"Now." "Ugh! Ok sweetie, can you stay here for me, I'll be right back." "Ok."

Watching the woman walk into the elevator and pressing the number 5 she decided to also go up there, being a curious child.

Taking the next elevator she waited for it to open. After dinging open she wiped her one eye that was still sore and walked out sucking her thumb.

"Ryan! I need those files." "Beckett!" "What?" "Cornell told me to bring this guys up here." "Just put him in holding."

"On it." Knowing her mother's voice she ran over bumping into another detective who wasn't very nice. "Watch it kid!"

"S..sorry." "What is a kid doing up here!" "I'm looking for my mommy."

"Who's you mom!" Pointing to Kate he took her by the arm. "Beckett!"

"Not now." She had her face in her file and wasn't paying attention. "This kid yours?" "No."

She didn't even realize when the man smirked. "Kid's a liar." "What kid." "MOMMY!"

Immediately perking her head up at her daughter's voice she dropped the file on her desk.

"Abby?! What in the world are you doing here?!" "so she's yours?" "Ya."

The man nodded and walked off. Picking her daughter up she walked into the break room. "Abby! Are you ok sweetie?!"

"I got lost." closing her eyes and hugging her she kissed her head. "How?!"

"I was walking with Ally through the park when her friend started talking to her and I got bored so I wandered off."

"Abby, what did we tell you about walking away!" "Not too." "Oh sweetie! I'm just glad you're ok."

"I'm sorry mommy." "Your sister is probably looking all over for you, I'm going to take my lunch break and take you home." "O..Ok."

"What do you mean you lost her?!" Rick almost screamed as Ally was trying to keep it together.

"She must have gotten bored!" "You said you would watch her! Do you know how big the city is!"

Just as Ally was about to respond Kate walked in with Abby. "Abby!"

Ally screamed as she hugged her. "

I'm sorry I ran off sissy." "Don't scare me like that!"

Abby nodded and ran over to her dad who had his arms open and scooped her up, wrapping her into a tight hug.

"She was smart and came to the precinct." "Smart girl, don't scare us again though!"

"I won't." She buried herself into his neck. Rick smiled and kissed her head.

"That's my girl!."
