Abby laughed as they walked with jo through the front door.
"Me either!" Noah said and closed the door.
"Abby! Can we walk Pepper!!" "Sure, let's get her from the laundry room."
Abby smiled and walked up the stairs.
"Pepper." Abby whistled. "Pepper!"
She opened the laundry room door and walked in where Pepper was in her bed.
"Pepper." She bent down and touched her but no response.
"P..Pepper." She wasn't breathing.
"Pepper NO!" Abby cried and fell down.
"Abby!" Noah ran up to find his sister crying.
"What happened!"
"pepper!" "Oh no!" "
She can't be gone!"
"Abby, she was an old dog."
"But!" "I know, we should tell Ally. She needs to know first."
Nodding Abby stood up and gave Pepper one last kiss.
"Let's go to the Park and buried her." "Ok." "
Abby sniffled and watched her brother wrap the dog in a towel and pick her up.
"Wait!"
She removed the sparkly blue collar they had gotten her a few years out and put it in her pocket.
"Jo." "YA?"
"We are going to the park."
"With Pepper!" "Yes, but.. Sis..Pepper passed away."
"Huh?!" "It means she went to doggy heaven."
"What?!" The 5 year old screamed and cried.
