"Now?" "Ya, I'm not busy really." "Well ok then, sure." She smiled and stepped back so he could at least walk Alyssa in. "Daddy." "Ya Peach?" "Can we go out to Remy's tonight?!" "Hmm." Kate smiled and bit her lip at the thought of when her mother would take her there."Ok, I'm sure we can as long as you get your homework done." "Deal." The shook on it which made Kate smile even more. "Can Principal Beckett come?" "Well, that's up to her but i'd be happy to have you with us." Shocked at the request Kate thought about it for only a few seconds then smiled. "I'd love too." "Great." "Yay!" "Ok peach ok, let's get you inside." "Ok.""I'll be right back, if you wanna hop in." Kate glanced at the ferrari then back. "In there!" "Ya, I mean if you're scared." She narrowed her eyes and smirked "Oh it's on." He chuckled then disappeared into the building with the little girl. Kate took the moment to let out a few deep breaths. She was going to have coffee with Richard Castle ! Then dinner with him and his daughter ! She had to call Maddy! Maddy her best friend/ annoying person who talks too much. Shaking her head at the sound of voices behind her she turned around and smiled as some other kids said 'hi'. "Ok ready?" "Huh?" Turning around again to find Rick smiling. "Oh ya sorry." She opened the passenger side door and got in. She screamed inside, she was actually in a ferrari ! He started the car and the engine rambled, tires screeched a bit before they were off. Soon stopping at the nearest starbucks the two adults got out and walked in. "Nice car." "Thanks." He winked and opened the door for her. Walking in to the aroma of coffee Kate smiled and moved her feet to the barista.

"Hi what can i get you?" "I'll have a grande skim latte with two pumps of sugar free vanilla and.. a bear claw." "Alrighty, and for you sir?" "I think I'll have just a caramel latte today, with a cinnamon bun." "Yes sir Mr.?" "Castle." "You..He! Omg ! You are like my favorite author of all time !" Kate could tell he didn't want to go through this right now but he couldn't brush the poor girl off. "Thanks, always nice to meet a fan." She giggled and blushed, "Oh um that's gonna be $11.47." "Ok thanks he handed her his card and thanked her as she returned it. "Your orders will be out in a sec." "Thanks." He smiled and walked to the farthest table, followed by Kate. They sat down in silence till Kate bit her lip and wanted to say something but Rick beat her. "Sorry about that." "No it's fine, I can see you're not big on super fans." "It's not that, it's nice to know I have lots of fans but I just don't like when they make big deals about it." "Ahh." Slapping herself inside Kate wondered if she had fangirled when she met him, would she have scared him off?! "Ya but hey I'm glad I've met one person like you who isn't like that." "Ya." Great Kate just Great ! "Not that you're a fan." "No, No I am." "Oh really." "Ya my mom loves your books and I read one of them one day and fell in love with them." "Hmm." She blushed and bit her lip, the barista soon yelled their orders and Rick got up being the gentlemen and thanked her.  "Here you are." "Thanks." He nodded and sat back down. "Thanks for the coffee." "My pleasure." She smiled and sipped her latte, "So can I ask, what made you want to become a writer?" "A book." "Sorry?" "I was about 10 when a man in the library handed me a copy of 'casino royale' I loved it so much and it inspired me to become a writer." "Wow." "Ya, never new it would be amazing like this." "Well obviously it was meant to be." "Guess so." "Listen I.. I wanted to say that..Nevermind." "What? You can tell me." "I will but in the future. Not now." Future!
