Kate was drinking tea when her two 13 year olds walked in followed by her 5 year old and Alexis.
"Hey guys."
"Hey mom."
"Hello Kate."
"How was school?"
"Good."
"Hi mommy."
"Hi sweetie."
Joanna coughed and rubbed her eyes.
"Sweetie what's wrong?"
"I don't feel good."
"Oh no." Kate got up and walked to her daughter to feel her forehead.
"You feel hot, let's get you to bed."
"I want daddy!"
Kate was glad that Rick was back.
When Joe wanted daddy she wanted daddy and she would scream till he came.
"Sweetie..."
"DADDY! I want DADDY!"
Kate was halfway through the stairs when Rick appeared from his office.
"You wanted me sugar?" "DADDY!"
Johanna squirmed in her mother's arms.
Rick smiled and took her in for a big bear hug.
"Daddy I missed you so much!"
"I missed you too sweetie!" He kissed her head.
"I hear you're sick so why don't you go with mommy and get into bed, then I'll come and read you a story."
"Ok." she nodded and went back to Kate who disappeared up the stairs.
"Dad!" Noah and Abby both said.
"Hey guys!"
"We missed you!"
