Taehyung Oneshots and Sickfics

Breaking Down

Taehyung couldn't stop the smile from blooming across his face as he heard Jin yell into the microphone. He and Jungkook had lifted him up. Taehyung supported Jin's back while Jungkook held onto his legs, making sure Jin was safe.

Yoongi was standing off to the side.

Taehyung narrowly avoided smashing into him when he and Jungkook turned around to set Jin down. It affected Taehyung's balance a bit, and he struggled to keep his grip on Jin constant.

Suddenly, just as they were setting him down, Jin tumbled forward. He hit the ground on his right side. Jungkook laughed.

"What happened?" Jimin rushed forward quickly.

Taehyung was at his heels. It was clear with the way that Jin was holding his knee and making exaggerated faces that he was just kidding. That he wasn't seriously hurt. Taehyung soon found himself giggling at his antics, along with Jungkook, too. Jimin was the only one who looked worried.

But soon, even that died away, and they were all laughing. It didn't cross Taehyung's mind then that maybe Jin was badly hurt because he didn't say anything. Just in case, after the show, he did ask Jin if everything was alright.

Jin only looked confused and shrugged. "Yeah, I'm fine. Why wouldn't I be?"

"Did you get hurt at all?"

"No. Why?"

Taehyung sighed. This wasn't getting anywhere.

"Just my knee."

"What?"

Jin shook his head. "Not that bad, I'm just tired. Some sleep-"

A wave of relief went through Taehyung's chest. "Phew."

Jin still looked confused but didn't press further.

The car ride was boring. They were in the midst of traffic when Taehyung got the bright idea to check his phone. His socials were filled with clips from the concert. There were the usual slowed-down edits from fans.

Something caught his eye. It was the clip of him and Jungkook lifting Jin up, and then Jin tumbling to the side afterwards. Watching it again, he had to admit that it was pretty funny.

However, when he went to the comment section, his heart sank. There were the usual jokes based on Jin's situation, some thirsting, and some random memes. But a little ways down, the hate comments started. Mainly against him, because he had become quieter in the last while, and people were convinced there was something wrong with him. Or worse, something wrong between the members and him.

Taehyung kept scrolling and scrolling, reading every single damn comment. Once in a while, he glanced up at Jin to make sure the eldest member really was alright. He seemed fine. But the guilt had started setting further and further, and after a while, Taehyung had to put his phone away. He felt sick.

Turning his head towards the window, he tried to ignore the steady pressure building behind his eyes. He didn't know why he was so emotional. He felt so sick.
