It might feel weird for some people for me to hop in someone else's car because they say so. Pwedeng nabudol nga ako and I'm just realizing it now. I couldn't get off this vehicle now as I literally have no idea where we are going. Ang sabi lang nila sa akin, we are heading back to their place where they were all staying.

I kept Cory updated on what was happening to me and she was just laughing it off.

Cory:
I don't think na may gagawing masama naman sa 'yo 'yang mga 'yan? HAHAHA

Me:
Leche ka! Pero may pagtawa, 'no?

Cory:
Chill ka lang kasi! The best thing about traveling alone is meeting new people.

Me:
E, hindi naman kasi ako katulad mo no'n na nagkajowa dahil lang nakitang may nakahiga sa tabi ng dagat e hinalikan na.

Cory:
HAHAHAHAHA! I still couldn't forget how stupid and embarrassing that was.

Me:
Kaya 'wag mo ako idamay riyan. I'll be flying there soon so humanda ka sa akin.

Cory:
Enjoy ka muna riyan! Live the best life, sis. 'Wag ka muna mag-isip ng iba. And you only had one-way ticket there so wala kang hahabulin kung kailan ka aalis. Have your time there. Meet new people. I think that's magical... and I also believe you were there for a reason.

Me:
Well, I hope so...

"You feeling good?" Napatingin ako nang bigla akong kausapin ni Keegan. We were sitting next to each other while Kady is at the back seat.

Tumango ako bilang sagot, but at the back of my mind, I'm trying to take into the process what Cory had just said to me. Siguro wala naman dapat akong pangambahan. I've heard a lot of things about Siargao and how many foreigners would live there and choose to stay there even though the country they lived in was way better.

And most of their response was that no one could beat Siargao's island life.

"I was just talking to my friend who was in Palawan right now."

"Oh, the friend you were supposed to meet there, right?" he queried, I think just to keep the conversation flowing.

It wasn't really awkward. Ako lang ata nag-iisip dahil hindi ako sanay na napapaligiran ng foreigner sa ganiton senaryo. Well, they don't intimidate me, but this is a different kind of scenario. I really don't know these people and I just met them all twenty minutes ago when I jumped into their vehicle. All I know is they are staying in Siargao. Who knows if they will drive me to my last destination?

"Yeah... she said I should just enjoy my stay here and don't bother flying to Palawan sooner."

"Siargao is like Palawan," he said. "So, you just gotta live the best out of it on the island."

I chuckled. "That's what my friend said to me."

"See? Life's telling you something and I guess, why you were here on the island isn't a mistake."
