Austin brought me to places I've never been before, obviously. Just a week ago, I didn't have plans to make my stay in Siargao and make it worthwhile. I only want to spend time away from all the things that have happened. If it wasn't for Cory who invited me to go to Palawan, I might've just gone to La Union where I have a few friends who live there by now.

Believe it or not, the person whom I thought would hate me could possibly be the person I'd have great memories here. That could be Austin, or my new friends back at the Transient house. I really thought I would find Keegan interesting for me during my stay here, but finding out he was no longer out in the fields of singles, I crossed him out.

I don't have plans on pursuing love on the island, it was never my intention. While I'm on the island, I would do whatever I want. No one would even care.

After we went to the view deck, Austin brought me to Coconut Road where we could take photos in the middle of the road since there weren't many vehicles passing by the road. Karamihan lang din naman ng mga dumadayo at gustong makita ang matatayog na coconut tree ay for their Instagram Feed.

It was a surprise for me when Austin followed me on IG and shared a story tagging me on it. That would be on his profile for about 24 hours and the thought of that made me feel something in my stomach. But I can't assume, that even though Austin knew I was gay, he would never turn his head for me. Not in this lifetime.

Before we head back to the house, dumaan kami sa isang fruit stand dahil inutos ni Marina na dumaan na bumili ng pakwan bago umuwi. Bumaba rin ako ng motor at ipinarada niya sa tabi sa lilim ng bubong na gawa sa tuyong dahon ng palmera sa tabing tindahan.

"Hey, Danny, what do you think of this?" tawag sa akin ni Austin. Hawak niya ang isang malaking striped watermelon. "Whould this be okay?"

Lumapit ako sa kanya at tinutkok ko dahil ang daliri ko. Upon tapping, it created a deep hollow sound when I clicked my fingers knowing that it would be the perfect watermelon. Napansin ko naman ang pagtataka sa mukha ni Austin.

"What did you do?" he asked confusedly. "Does that make any sense?"

I chuckled, nodding my head. "Yes! That's a trick when looking for a ripe watermelon. Knock or tap it with your finger. If it is deep hollow, that would be ripe and that would be the sound you should be hearing, and if it is too high-pitched, that's unripe. Not the best one."

"You could be a Watermelly Master now." He giggled.

"What do you call me now?" I asked and I heard it for the first time, but it was cute when he said those words. Austin shook his head upon my request. "KJ. I heard what you said."

"I don't have to repeat it then." He chuckled. "Alright, Watermelly Master, I trust you in this one so we'll buy it."

"Of course, ako pa ba?" Ngisi ko pa.

Austin paid for it while I took the watermelon and placed it safely on the motorbike.

"Hey, Danny," he called me while I was still putting it on the bike. "Do you want a BJ?"
