Psalm 27:1

The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

Jesus is our light and salvation, so there's nothing we should be afraid of. He will always protect us. God has taken control of our lives because He is the one who created us, so how can we be afraid of things that are nothing near to God's power? So there's nothing for us to be scared of.
