Galatians 1:10
For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.
In Galatians 1, Paul confronted the people on how they were following their version of the gospel (v.6). Paul said there is only one true message, but people were changing it and causing other people to turn from it (v. 7). So Paul called for punishment for whoever changed the message (v. 8-9). He knew his words would offend people, but he didn't care (v. 10). He didn't want to win people's approval, he wanted to win the approval of God. That's what Christians should be doing. We should be like Paul and look for the approval of God instead of people.
