Romans 12:2
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
It's important to take a stand for the truth. It might not be cool to stand up for God, but when we get to Heaven, He's going to thank us for standing up for His truth. God doesn't need us to defend Him, but we should still stand up for our beliefs, even if we're standing alone. Don't let anyone around you tell you what's cool or correct. Don't let your soul be transformed by anyone but Jesus.
