Ephesians 4:29
Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
Words can leave a sting that could last for a while. We may regret and feel guilty for saying something later, but you can't take the words back. Once they're out, there's no way of removing them. We should be positive and kind with our words.
