1 Corinthians 9:24
Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one recieveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.
Paul often refers to the Christian lifestyle as a race. At the end of the race, there is a prize that is worth it. The prize is Jesus. But it's going to be hard and we will fall down. But the Lord will pick up up and heal us. We might want to give up, but we need to trust that God will get us through to the end of the race.
