Lamentations 1:2
She weepeth sore in the night, and her tears are on her cheeks: among all her lovers she hath none to comfort her: all her friends have dealt treacherously with her, they are become her enemies.
Have you ever been betrayed? God may be trying to show you that you don't need that person in your life. He might be telling you to put your trust in Him instead. He might want you to find new friends. Friends that aren't going to betray you. Friends who love and trust Jesus. Don't forget, God has a great plan for everyone, so He might be taking that person out of your life for a reason.
