Present Day 1892

"And that's why you never add Lacewing Flies to your Maxima Potion!" Sebastian's face was red from laughter.

"Honestly Sebastian why must you always feel the need to repeat this story, drop it!" Ominis aggressively spat out.

"Because it was hilarious mate. Your skin was green for weeks after your potion exploded!"

I chuckled; I truly did miss the banter between the two. This was exactly how life used to be.

I chimed in, "Ominis I quite frankly would have done anything to see that."

"No Eliza, the most embarrassing this is that I didn't know my skin was green."

I glanced over towards Sebastian. He was laughing before he could let out his next words, "I mean...how would you?"

"SEBASTIAN." Ominis flicked the water from his umbrella over towards his direction.

I laughed with Sebastian, while Ominis was clearly not amused by his friend's ongoing antics. We all walked along the muddy road. The weather has been dark and gloomy all day, with never-ending rain.

I walked with my arm liked around Ominis' to help guide him to Hogsmeade. While his other hand had an umbrella over the both of us. Sebastian walked on the other side of Ominis with only using his hood to hide from the rain.

It's now been a few days since the news of the Azkaban breakout. The chaos of the event died down a smidge, hence there not being an update about Elijah's whereabouts.

We all decided to head to Hogsmeade right after class, since Headmaster Black put a strict curfew for when students should return to the castle. He also called for more Aurors to keep a close eye on the school.

As we trudged our way to Hogsmeade, I told the boys the rest of what the Keepers had to say. Both were disgusted with the false image they displayed.

Finally making it to Hogsmeade, I gazed upon its empty, cold streets. The rain continued to fall from the sky, making puddles along the stone path.

I have an idea.

I ripped the umbrella from Ominis' hand and tossed it to the ground. I held onto his arm tighter as I ran through the street.

"Eliza what in Merlin's name are you doing? I told you I didn't want my hair to get wet!"

"Don't be a stick in the mud! When I say jump, jump!" I locked my eyes on its target. A big puddle in the middle of town awaited us.

As I ran towards the puddle, I glanced back at Sebastian. His hands were on his knees, laughing hysterically.

"One, two, three, jump!" Ominis surprisingly did what he was told and jumped with me.

Our boots were soaked, the impact splashing water onto both of our robes. The once bone-dry Ominis was now drenched from the falling rain and puddle splashes.

He pressed his lips together, closing his eyes and taking a breath, "Bloody hell Eliza." He was annoyed but I enjoyed the thrill. And he secretly did too.

"In coming!!" Sebastian ran up from behind and jumped into the same puddle. I was laughing so hard tears formed in my eyes.

I caught Sebastian staring. He gave me a quick wink and decided to kick more water towards Ominis. I snorted from laughter and that seemed to break Ominis' shell, as he was too now laughing.

We all walked into the Three Broomsticks completely drenched. The warmness from the building replaced the cold air from outside.

"Oh, there's a sight I haven't seen before." Sirona gave all three of us a head-to-toe look.
