It all happened so quickly. I turned my head in the opposite direction to find Sebastian tugging my wrist. I am livid.
"Sebastian Sallow you let go of me!"
He ignored my words and continued. Smacking his arm, I tried again.
"Sebastian are you not listening, let go!"
We were now standing at the entrance of a locked door at the end of the hallway when he finally spoke.
"Alohomora." Sebastian unlocked the door and dragged me inside the broom closet, forcefully shutting the door. Apparently, it looks like Sebastian had enough of my witty antics today.
I tried to act like I didn't care but, on the inside, my heart was racing. I started to back away from Sebastian, causing him to walk closer to me.
I eventually found my back making contact with the cold, stone wall. Sebastian continued to close the gap between us until he was right in front of me.
Towering over me, he placed one arm on the wall above my head, while the other rested on his hip. Eyes locked with mine.
Has he always been this tall?
Sebastian had to be at least almost six feet.
As I stared into his eyes, I was finally able to get a good look at him. His freckles still scattered his face, cheeks still a pale pink, eyes still a warm chocolate brown. He looked so much older, mature. But he was still the Sebastian I remembered.
"Do I have your attention now?" Sebastian spoke, face inches away from mine.
My heart rate increased.
Taking a deep to calm myself, his smell invading my nose, I spoke.
"Can you not take a hint that I don't want to speak to you?"
He chuckled, "Maybe after you sent my bird up in flames, but come on, I know you loved it."
Damn, he got me there. I was fascinated by the enchanted object, but he can't know that.
"Well clearly not enough Sebastian." I released a huge sigh, looking away from his eyes.
"Look, I know this is such bad timing. I really, really, need to speak to you."
"Well, why don't you go blabber off to Ominis since he clearly has more patience than me." I spat out.
"Please! I really need your help."
This man is in for it.
I brought my gaze back to him.
"Help? You want to talk about help?! How about the time when we saved your ass from being sent to Azkaban!"
"Yes but- "
"But?! No, but what do you do to thank us? You disappear!!"
He swallowed hard and continued to look at me, never moving from his original stance.
I can tell in his eyes that he has so much to say. But with him staring right back into mine, he should be able to tell that I didn't want to listen.
"And you know what I'm about to do? Disappear!! So, if you'll excuse me I'm leaving."
He now brought his other hand that wasn't against the wall up to my shoulder.
"I can explain everything to you, I just need you to be a big girl right now and listen."
Ignoring his request, I shoved past him and made my way towards the door.
"I looked for you last night Eliza." He said bluntly.
