Hey guys! I got a suggestion that I should do more DIY's, so I'm going to be doing some in this chapter.
Hair growth is one topic that we can all agree is positive, but can sometimes seem like it takes forever. I've struggle with my hair growing out, whether it was from a bad haircut, damage to my hair which caused it to fall out, or just wanting it to be longer. I have a few ways that you can grow out your hair (doesn't happen overnight, though!) quicker and easier, while still keeping it natural.
Castor Oil Treatment
Ingredients: Castor oil
1. All you have to do is apply a few drops of castor oil to your hair, and massage it in. Cover your hair with a shower cap, a scarf, etc, and leave it on overnight.
2. Shampoo and condition it out like you normally would when you wake up
Castor oil is getting really popular now, for a good reason. It's really good for growing any hair actually-eyelashes, eyebrows, your bangs! It increases circulation for thicker hair, and that can lead to stronger and quicker-growing hair. Be careful with castor oil, though, as it is really oil and kind of weird feeling, so don't use too much.
Burdock Root Oil Treatment
Ingredients: Burdock oil, essential oils, and aloe vera gel
1. Mix a few drops of rosemary, basil, lavender, or any other essential oils with the burdock oil and a little aloe vera gel, and massage it into your scalp.
2. Shampoo out of your hair after a few hours
Side note: Burdock oil is something that's considered kind of weird, but it's really, really helpful when growing your hair! It's available at a lot of retail stores or aromatherapy shops.
