Hi everyone! I'm currently writing this with my reading glasses off (squinting), with baby poop smeared on my face.
Well, not actually baby poop, but you'll find out when you try this yourself. So, I was looking online a few months ago at some face masks to buy, even though I don't have acne (my skin is too dry). I found some good ones that apparently really worked, but they were pretty $$$.
I came across this recipe last year and tried it, but forgot to write about what it did and am trying it again. It works WONDERS for acne scars (which I do have) and acne! It definitely looked like baby poop no matter what you do, so I guess you'll have to get used to it.
Acne Face Mask
Ingredients:
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg (ground)
1 teaspoon honey
a little bit of lemon juice
First, combine the honey, cinnamon and nutmeg. The first time I did this, I had ground nutmeg because I was at a friends house. Today, I had to grind it myself at home because we didn't have the powdered form already. By this point, the mixture should be sort of thick, and almost have the texture and appearance of cookie dough, which is the best way to describe it. Don't worry, you won't have to apply it like this. Add a little (just a little--half a squeeze) of lemon juice to the mask and it'll make it less thick. Leave it on for 30 minutes.
If your skin is more sensitive-use like a drop lemon juice or omit it all together, and juice use water. Don't go out in the sun obviously, since lemon juice messes with your skin's pH level (I've done a chapter on this) and you'll burn and attract UV rays.
This worked so well! If you guys try this or ANY of my other diy's in this book, snapchat your results or you doing it to me. My snapchat username is kaylasiman. As always, if you have any requests, either message them to me or comment them here! Love you all!
