Hi everyone! I knowwwww that I haven't updated this book a lot, but to be honest this book is my favorite I've published so far.  I just love helping ya.  I got a request a few days ago for a moisturizer recipe that'll help soften skin.  Just in time for spring/summer because you'll need to hydrate your face more often.

I actually found this diy online, but I changed it to what I thought would be better for my skin, so this is the recipe I used and it really works!

Face Moisturizer

1/4 cup aloe vera gel (I bought it from trader joes)

1 teaspoon of vitamin E oil (also from Trader Joes)

1 teaspoon of jojoba oil

2-3 drops of lavender oil--I had this because my mom uses a lot of essential oils, but if you don't have access to lavender oil, skip it

2 tablespoons of coconut oil

Mix the aloe vera gel and oils together until it becomes one texture.  Then, add your essential oils if you're using them (I used two drops).  Then, leave the moisturizer alone for like 10-15 minutes.  I forgot about it and left mine for twenty but I tried it again and left it for 10 (MUCH easier to work with after 10 minutes instead of 20).  Then refrigerate it and leave it there.

From the recipe online, it said that it'll last 6 months in the fridge, which is good because I really didn't make that much.  I left it in the bowl that I stirred everything in but you can always transfer it to a jar or small container if you'd prefer that.

Thank you guys sooo much for sticking by me with this book!  As always, leave REQUESTS in your comments or in my messages if its something more private!
