I'm not scared anymore

Chapter eight: Girls trip.

Amelia's pov:

We get in the car. Sunshine sitting in the front and me, Cirrus and Cumulus in the back. They told me that drive to the city is like 20 minutes. Car pulled of the church's yard and started heading to the city.

Ghoulette's were planning what shops we would visit. It was pretty hard for me to join the conversation since i've never been there. "Do you have something specific that you would like to buy?" Cumulus asks me. "Well, at least some clothes, and maybe some drawing and writing supplies" I answered.

The car ride to the town went smoothly. I looked out of the window as we got closer to the town. There was so many buildings that it would be impossible to count them, and they were so big. I looked outside amazed, Cirrus and Cumulus giggling at my reaction. Car stopped in front of one of the buildings and we left the car. There was so much people walking on the streets, seeming pretty busy.

Car continued on its way, leaving us there. "Come on Amelia, we don't have time to waste." Sunshine said, grabbing my arm and pulling me behind her. First we headed to this clothing shop. We went around the shop for a while. I actually ended up finding few really nice jeans and a couple of hoodies. The ghoulettes also bought some clothes. We paid for our shoppings and headed out from the shop.

As we were walking on the street, i couldn't help but notice that some of the people that walked past us looked at us a little weird because of the masks. I tried to not pay attention to it.

Next we headed to the bigger market that sold pretty much everything. We walked around the shop. I found a new set of coloring pencils and a new notebook. I also ended up buying a few puzzles. Cirrus also bought a couple of board games so we could all play them together back at the church. Once again we paid for our shoppings and left the store.

"This is actually pretty fun" I said. "Didn't i tell you, i wish we could visit here more often." Cirrus answered. "Hey i would love to visit that one clothing store on the edge of the town" Cirrus said. "No way i'm gonna walk that far." Sunshine shook her head. "Actually i would like to go too" Cumulus said. "Yeah, no way." Sunshine kept her mind

"What about you Amelia?" Sunshine asked. "Well, i don't mind walking, but i can stay with you if Cirrus and Cumulus wants to go" I answer. "Hey, that's a great idea." Sunshine answered. "Okay let's do that. We can meet here when we're ready. Okay?" Cirrus said. "Yeah that sounds good" I answer. "Okay, we'll see you later." Cumulus says as Cirrus already starts walking to the other direction. I waved the two goodbye as me and Sunshine headed to the other direction.

"Do you have something you need to buy or did you got everything you needed" Sunshine asked. "Yep, i got everything" I answered. "Okay, then i know just the place that we have to visit." She says. "Okay? What place is it?" I ask. "Arcade!" She exclaims. "That sounds fun" I answer. "Yes it's so much fun, you'll love it." She says.

Sunshine showed me the way since i didn't know where that arcade was. "Tell me something about yourself Amelia" She said trying to spend some time while we were walking. "What exactly would you like to know?" I asked not sure what to tell. "Well, tell me about the time before you came here." She said. "Well, there's actually not that much to tell. I was actually pretty boring, all i did was basically staying home." I answer.

"Why?" She asked. "Well, i didn't have that many friends, or more specifically i had one. I've been mostly bullied my whole childhood." I answer a little unsure of my answer, because i don't want to seem like i was trying to get attention. "Oh, no, that's terrible" She says. "Well, i'm over it now. I guess that is why i might seem a little shy or cautious around new people nowadays." I answer. "I'm so sorry that you had to go through all that. Why did they bully you?" She asks looking at me sadly.
