I'm not scared anymore

Chapter nine: Can you stay?

Rain's pov:

All of us were watching a movie in the common room, well everyone at least the ghoulettes. I was sitting at the right side of the sofa. Next to me was sitting Sodo, Swiss and Mountain. Aether was laying on the separate sofa. The movie we were watching was Jurassic park 1. I didn't actually care about movies like that, but Sodo and Swiss pretty much pressured me to come and watch it with them.

          We were almost halfway watching the movie, when we heard the church's outdoor opening. Finally the ghoulettes came back. I saw Amelia rushing towards her room, Cirrus after her. Others were still focused on the movie. Soon after Cumulus came to the common room. Aether sat up so Cumulus could sit next to him. Cumulus sat down on the couch. "How was your trip" Aether asked her. "Well, not that well.." She said, sounding pretty upset.

         Next Sunshine walked into the room, i could see from her eyes that she had been crying. "Come here" Cumulus told her patting the spot next to her. Sunshine laid down on the sofa placing her head on Cumulus's lap and lifting her legs on Aether's lap. Sunshine sighed deeply after laying down.

         "Hey, what's wrong?" Aether asked her. Sunshine had been trying to stop crying before coming to the common room, but now after Aether's question her tears started streaming down her cheeks. "I'm sorry. Everything is okay now, i guess. We just had a pretty rough day." She said sobbing.

         Cumulus were stroking Sunshine's head, trying to make her feel safe. Little after Cirrus also came to the common room, alone. "Where's Amelia?" I asked. "In her room" Cirrus said, sighing. She sat down on the floor next to Cumulus and Sunshine. "Sunshine, please tell me what happened. What happened before we came." Cirrus asked worried. 'What had happen to them, that got Sunshine like this, i've never seen her like this' I thinked.

          I took the tv remote and paused the movie, Sodo, Swiss and Mountain, now also paying attention. Sunshine corrected her voice and took a deep breath. "After you and Cumulus left, me and Amelia decided to head towards the arcade." She started. "On our way there, we were stopped by these two men" She continued. Everyone was now completely silent, listening to what Sunshine was telling.

         "At first it was just whistling and calling after us. We tried to not pay attention to them and just you know, continue our way" She said. "But we couldn't get away from them, they finally caught us." She said.

           I felt sick to my stomach, why couldn't they just let it be. Little did i know that this was just the start. "The smaller one of the men grabbed me from my wrist, so we couldn't get away. We tried to tell them that we didn't want anything to do with them, but they didn't listen.

         They pulled us away from the street to an alleyway" She continued taking a little break while trying to dry her tears. "They blocked the exit so we couldn't  get away. They wanted us to take off our masks or go with them, i don't know. At this point i was able to text Cumulus and i think i was able to share my location." She said. "Yes, we got the location, Sunshine. Because of that we were able to find you. I'm so proud of you Sunshine" Cirrus said, placing her hand on Sunshines.

          "After that they came closer to us, they were pretty upset when we wouldn't do as they said. The smaller one of the guys grabbed me by my shoulders and pushed me against the wall. The bigger guy was now targeting Amelia. I tried to get away from the man's grip, but he was so strong." She said. "Amelia tried to get away from the guy, but the man got her and threw her on the ground." She said, taking a few deep breaths.

           "The bigger guy came on top of her, i tried to get away so i could've helped her, but i couldn't" She said feeling bad. "The bigger guy took off Amelia's mask." She paused. All of us were listening to her in horror.
