I'm not scared anymore

Chapter thirty seven: Welcome

Rain's pov:

I woke up in the morning, when i message popped into my phone. I turned to my side to reach for my phone. Amelia was still asleep. I took my phone in my hand and looked at the time. It was 10 a.m. The message that popped in my phone was from Copia.

Copia: Hey Rain, i was thinking if you could come to my office today around 10:30. I need a favor. I would ask Aether, but he has a lot going on right now.
Rain: Yeah, of course. I'll be there
Copia: Thank you Rain!

I placed my phone back on the nightstand and turned to Amelia. "Amelia, are you awake?" I asked, pushing her a little. She looked at me rubbing the sleep away from her tired eyes. "Well i am now." She giggled. "I'm sorry." I laughed. "It's nothing, what is it?" She asked.

"Copia texted me and asked me to come to his office in 30 mins." I said. "Did he say why?" She asked. "No." I answered. "Well, you'll tell me all about it when you get back." She smiled. "Exactly." I smiled, placing a quick kiss on her lips, before getting up from the bed.

"I'll wait here." She smiled from the bed. I looked at her smiling, before i changed my clothes.

When i was ready changing the clothes, the clock was around 10:20. I waved Amelia goodbye as i left the room. I walked along the hallway towards Copia's office. It was pretty quiet around the church in the mornings, so no one walked past me.

When i got to Copia's door, i gently knocked on the door. "Come on in." Copia yelled from inside. I opened the door and walked into the room. I closed the door and turned around to face Copia. Sister Imperator was also in the room.

"Hey Copia. What is going on?" I asked. "Good morning Rain. Thank you for coming." Copia says. "Yes of course." I said walking towards him. "So, the reason i asked you to come here today is because we are summoning a two more ghouls here, or most specifically, ghoulettes." Copia says. "To help you with your work?" I asked. "Exactly." Copia says.

"Water, could you please wait outside while the summoning?" Sister Imperator asks. "Oh yeah, of course, but why exactly did you need my help?" I asked. "After we have summoned them, we need you to show them around the church and introduce them to others." Copia explains. "Okay. Just come get me when you're done." I said as i walked into the hallway to wait.

I'm pretty confused why Copia asked me to show them around. Normally Aether does things like this, but i guess he is busy with Sunshine. But still, there is still Mountain for example, who is a lot "talkative" then i am. But i guess i'm honored that Copia wants me to do it.

After something like 20 minutes, Copia finally came to get me. "Okay Rain, we are done here." Copia said, motioning me to come in. I walked into the room behind Copia.

Now there were two ghoulettes also standing in the room. "Okay Rain, meet Cora an earth ghoul and Eden an air ghoul. Eden and Cora, meet Rain. He is here today to answer your questions and to show you around." Copia says. "Hey." I waved, both of them waving back to me.

  Cora had a blonde shoulder length hair and green eyes, Eden instead had a long dark read her, which was braided and her eyes were blue.

"You can go now, i'll see you a bit later girls." Copia says. "Could you Rain bring them back here when you're done?"  Copia asks. "Yeah sure." I say as i head out of the room, with Cora and Eden after me.

"Okay, so like Copia already told you, i'm Rain and i was told to show you around here." I said, as we walked into the hallway. "I'm so happy to be here!" Cora exclaimed. "And happy to meet you, i'm so excited." She continued.
