Sunshine's pov:

I was still in Aether's arms. He had his arms wrapped tightly around me, holding me against his chest. "I'm so sorry Aether, i didn't mean to-" I started, but was cut by Aether shushing me. "Shhh, all i care about right now is that you are okay." He said.

"Aether, could we go somewhere inside? It's starting to get dark and cold." Mountain said. "Yeah, i just don't know if there is any place open here at this time." Aether answered. "Oh yeah, you're right. Well where do we go? Do we have any other choice than the church?" Mountain asked.

After Mountain ended his sentence, it felt like my heart dropped and my body felt tense. I felt Aether let out a deep breath while lowering his chin against the top of my head. I stayed quiet in Aether's arms, listening to the three talking.

"You two can go, i'll take a hotel room for us for the night." Aether said. "Are you sure? Do you want us to come with you?" Ifrit asked. "Yeah you can go." Aether said. "Okay, we'll see you later. I'm glad you're okay Sunshine." Ifrit said as he and Mountain headed to the other way.

"Thank you." I said quietly. "From now on you talk to me, okay?" Aether said, letting out a deep breath against the top of my head. I nodded. With that Aether started walking towards the closest hotel.

"Aether, i can walk by myself." I said. "Please Sunny, just let me hold you. Actually i don't even understand how you walked such a long way, your legs must hurt like hell." Aether said. "If you don't let me walk by myself, can you at least squeeze a little bit lighter?" I asked. "Oh yeah, i'm sorry." Aether laughed. "I just don't want you to slip away." Aether laughed.

I ended up riding the rest of the way on Aether's back. "Aether." I said, resting my head on his shoulder. "Yeah?" Aether asked. "I'm really sorry for what i did." I said sighing. "We'll talk when we get to the hotel, okay?" Aether answered. "Okay." I sighed.

When we finally got to the hotel room, Aether finally agreed to let me down. I slouched to the bed and sat down, tossing my mask on the floor. Soon after Aether also came to sit on the bed, leaning to the headboard of the bed. "Are you cold?" Aether asked. "A little." I said, quietly.

Aether patted the seat next to him, motioning for me to sit down next to him. I moved myself next to Aether and leaned my head to his side as he pulled the blanket over my body.

Both of us stayed quiet for a while, until Aether broke the silence. "What happened Sunshine?" He asked. I let out a deep sigh before answering. "I don't know, i just.. I don't know." I sighed.

Aether stayed silent waiting for me to continue. "I just... I didn't wanna go back and then Rain got hurt and we had to leave the cottage and i heard that you were coming to the hospital and everything was just happening so quickly." I explained.

"I'm sorry Sunny that you felt like you had to run away from me." Aether said quietly. "It's not like that, or i don't know. Just when i was at the parking lot of the hospital, i heard you and Mountain talking about us going back to the church and then i just didn't know what else to do." I said. "I thought that i would stay away for a while and then i could've returned to the church when i was.. better, i don't know." I continued.

"But Sunny, I don't want you to go through this alone, i don't want you to be alone." Aether said. I let out a quiet sob. "I don't want to be alone." I sobbed quietly.

Aether placed his arms to my sides, pulling me closer to him, into his embrace. "I'm so glad to have you back Sunny, please never do that again." Aether whispered. "I'm sorry Aether. I didn't mean to worry you. I want to go back home with you so bad, but it's- it's hard." I sobbed.
