I'm not scared anymore

Chapter forty nine: Happy. But confused

Swiss's pov:

"Can i go see Aurora?" I asked the nurse. "I'm sorry, for now you have to stay in your room." The nurse answered.

      Me, Aurora and Cirrus arrived at the hospital a while ago. They didn't allow me to go with her. All they are telling me is to stay in my room. They are not even telling me if she is okay. I don't even know where Cirrus is, or the others.

      I'm not going to stay in this room. I carefully got up from the bed. My ankle hurts now even more than back at the bus. I tiptoed to the door and made sure that the nurse was already gone. Luckily there was no one in the hallway.

       I stepped out of the room and started to walk along the hallway. I had no idea where Aurora's room was, but i was going to find it. "Hey sir, where are you going? You shouldn't be walking." I heard a female voice behind me. I turned around to the direction where the voice was coming.

      "I'm sorry, could you please just tell me where her room is." I said. "The girl who was found in the snow?" The nurse asks. "Yes. I have to be with her. I promised her brother that i would look after her." I said. "Where is her brother?" The nurse said. "I don't know, he was in the crash with us. He was unconscious the last time i saw him." I said.

        "Okay, how about we do this. You are going to wait here and i'm going to go ask her if she wants to have you there with her, okay?" The nurse says. "Okay, i sighed and sat down on a chair. "Wait here." She says heading in the other direction.

       After about 5 minutes she came back. "Okay, you can come with me. She said that it's okay that you come." The nurse said. I quietly followed after her, towards Aurora's room. "We are going to bring your bed to her room, since you still need to be monitored too." The nurse says. "Of course. As long as i can stay with her." I said. "Okay, she is right there, i'll go get the bed." She says, heading back.

        I quickly entered the room and was met with Aurora. "Hey." I simply said, walking further into the room. "Swiss, you're here." She smiled. "Nothing could keep me away." I smiled walking next to her. "Have you heard anything from Phantom?" She asked. "No, i'm sorry." I sighed.

       The smile on her face dropped. "I'm so worried about him."She said quietly. "I'm sure they are going to tell us when they have something to tell. Right now you have to focus on getting better yourself." I said.

       "I don't even remember what happened. What happened, Swiss?" She asked. "You really don't remember?" I asked. "No, everything is just blurry." She says. "Our bus crashed and we ended up in a ditch. At some point of all this you fell from the window and landed somewhere in the snow." I explained. "I don't remember any of that." She said, confused. "It's okay, you are going to be fine." I said, taking her hand gently.

        "What about you? Are you okay?" She asked. "I'm okay." I said. "But what if you wasn't?" She said, tears building in her eyelids. "I could've lost both of you." She said quietly. "Aurora you haven't lost Phantom." I said. She just looked at me, tears in her eyes. "Heeey, Aurora. Everything is going to be okay." I said, wrapping her in a hug.

       I tried not to squeeze too tight so i wouldn't hurt her. I couldn't think of anything i could've said to her. I just listened to her quiet sobs and held her tight.

      "What about everyone else?" Aurora asked. "Cirrus came here with us and i think they are going to bring others here too. Amelia and Rain were okay, so was Cumulus, Mountain and Copia. Sodo had his arm stuck in a bus." I explained. "Okay." Aurora let out a deep sigh.

        "Hey, here is your bed. Is there anything else i can get you?" The nurse asked. "Have you heard anything about my brother?" Aurora asked. "Umm, yeah. They brought him here. He is getting treated at the moment." The nurse said. "How is he doing?" Aurora asked. "He is stable for now. I think they are going to try and wake him up soon." The nurse said.
