Leora - hidden light

Chapter four

"Shh Helge, she'll wake." A deep voice said. His voice is deep yet soft as it hits the ears.

"She needs to, Adonis. She hasn't eaten in almost two days."

Says another voice, this one more grumpy and old.

"TWO DAYS?" I fully open my eyes and search for the voices now. Two concerned faces stare right back. One, young, tall and slender with long black hair that had been tied into a half bun in the back and a jaw so sharp it could cut. Second one, this person is much shorter with greyish hair and thick eyebrows. Both of them are wearing thick leather over their black silk shirts. Full black attire and a white fur coat over all of it.

My mind has been running so much, my body couldn't tell me that I've been freezing my ass off.

"Oh Lords, get the girl a cover, Adonis... She's freezin' " The older guy says to the younger one.

"Mind telling me what you have done to me? You know my father is-"

"Yes we know your father. Lux Stefan M'teagan Zagreus. Ruler of Thestronia. Ruler of the light kindgom. The most powerfullll. So so so so powerful. Right?" He had a smug smile on his face that totally gave away that his comments about my father was sarcastic.

"Yeah no. He ain't all that. So you, listen to us. You are ours now."

You are ours now? What does that even mean? I can't process all this madness. I just stare back at him.

"You know that I am gifted right. I could kill you so easil-"

"Lords, she talks too much. Here, chug it and shush."

Adonis or whoever that prick is, brought back a glass of water with ice pieces floating in it. He had a long blanket looking thing which had buttons, so it's probably a cloak of some sort. He comes around me and places it over my bare shoulders. His smell is totally different to Lucian. While Lucian smells like musk, rose and sunshine, this guy smells like a dark scent of jasmine. But very subtle, I imagine it's because he lives in a colder region.

I chug the water as he instructed and then ate a warm meal of beans and bread. Now time to ask questions.

"So you basically kidnapped me? For what, though?" I ask.

"Technically, Reina did. She had been working in your palace for years now. 'The plan' has been going on for a long time, sweetheart." The grumpy old man introduced himself as Gervic Blagden of the Blagden kingdom. And Adonis Blagden is his nephew and also the prince of Kodurk. A lot of information just hit my head and I'm dizzy again.

"What about Lucian? Where is he kept?" I ask as my severe anxiety pours out through the words.

"Ah yes. The gifted twins. You think we won't take the two of you if we could take one? He's under the watch of someone else. Don't fret, for he is located in this ship."

Right as he said the word ship, I felt the jarring movements of the huge cruise. They have tied me up on the deck for some reason.

"What do you need from us anyway?" I ask.

"Well, I-"

"That's enough Uncle Gervic. Mother will not allow more than this talk." Adonis says to his uncle. I have a feeling this Adonis doesn't like me much.

"Okay, kiddo. That's all the answers you're going to get." My breathing got rapid somewhere in between finding out I was kidnapped to possibly setting me up for auction.

"By the way, Reina has kindly packed you a bag of necessities. That includes your overly decorated sword. Okay now sleep."

I get DEIMO back? Oh it's over for these cowards.
