After our argument, I was too distraught to even think straight. I rushed back to my apartment and immediately headed to the shower. As the hot water ran down my back, I tried to calm myself down and forget about the chaos I had just been part of.

As I dried off and got dressed, my phone rang. It was Jimin, one of my closest friends. I sighed as I answered.

"Hey, what's up?" I asked, my voice still slightly shaky.

"Hey, you okay?" Jimin asked, hearing the concern in my voice. "You sounded pretty upset earlier."

I sighed again, feeling the weight of everything I was dealing with. "I just got in a big fight with my dad," I said, my voice barely above a whisper.

There was a pause on the line before Jimin spoke again. "Oh, man. That sucks," he said softly. "What happened?"

I started to explain, the anger and frustration still burning within me. "He just doesn't understand me" I said, my voice growing louder. "He's always putting pressure on me, and I'm sick of it."

Jimin listened patiently, offering kind words and support as I vented. "I get it," he said after a while. "Family can be tough sometimes. But you know what? You're a grown-up now. You don't have to listen to him. Just do what you want."

I smiled at his words, feeling a little better. "Thanks, Jimin," I said. "I needed to hear that."

We stayed on the phone for a while longer as I told him about my day and my plans for the future. It was nice to have someone to talk to, someone who understood me and didn't judge or criticize.

As we hung up, I felt a little more relaxed and a little less alone. I took a deep breathe and headed to the kitchen to grab a snack. I knew I had a long way to go, but at least now I had someone in my corner. And that's all that mattered.

I had spent the past week trying to relax and move on from my argument with my father, but the tension still lingered. It was hard to shake off the stress and anger that had built up over the years, especially when I hadn't heard back from him since that night.

As I sat in the conference room with my business partner and a few of our employees and managers, I tried to focus on the task at hand: planning for the upcoming fishing season. We were discussing potential locations, equipment, and logistics.

I couldn't shake the feeling that she was out there somewhere.

Where was she? Why hadn't I seen her since our argument? I shook my head, trying to refocus on the task at hand.

But the image of her piercing gaze and captivating smile continued to play over in my mind. I wondered what she was doing right at that moment. Was she thinking of me, too?

I caught my partner's eye and saw a hint of amusement in his expression. He must have noticed where my attention was diverted.

"Earth to Jeon," he said with a grin. "You with us?"

I chuckled, embarrassed. "Sorry," I said. "Just lost in thought for a second there."
He nodded.

As the meeting went on, I found myself growing increasingly distracted. I started to worry that my employers would notice, but I couldn't help it. I kept replaying that night in my head, wondering where I went wrong.

Finally, I couldn't take it any longer. I stood up from my seat and excused myself, saying that I had an urgent matter to attend to.
