I put the fruits that I had brought with me on the edge of the pool so that Lisa could eat them.

As I took in the Lisa's confused expression, I quickly realized that she had never seen of any of the fruits I had brought for her. As a result, she was hesitant to take a bite, unsure of what she would be putting into her body. I felt a pang of guilt, realizing that I should have explained the types of fruit I was offering before she arrived. However, it was too late to change the past, and all I could do now was reassure her and try to make her feel more comfortable.

Seeing her uncertainty, I took a deep breath and began to explain the different types of fruit I had brought for her. "This is called a cantaloupe," I said, pointing to the orange-colored fruit. "And this is a mango," I continued, holding up another juicy, yellow-colored fruit. "And this is a strawberry," I said, offering the red, juicy fruit to her.

I watched as she slowly took a deep breath and began to take in the information I was sharing with her. She seemed a little less apprehensive now, as she realized that I had prepared a feast for her out of kindness. As she slowly began to take her first bite of the strawberry, I held my breath, hoping that she would enjoy the fruit as much as I did.

And to my relief, she did. Her eyes lit up with pleasure as the juice from the strawberry washed over her taste buds. She took another bite, and then another, until the entire piece was gone. "This is delicious!" she exclaimed, her voice filled with a sense of gratitude.

As she continued to eat, the mermaid began to feel a strange sensation wash over her. It was as if she was being transported to a different world, one where the light was brighter, the sounds more vivid, and the colors more vibrant. She felt an intense sense of euphoria, a sense of joy and happiness that she hadn't felt in what felt like an eternity.

I was looking at Lisa, but my mind was somewhere else.
I can't call this job greedy, but I should have made the most of the situation I had.
This was the best opportunity to increase my shares and income.
But hey, I didn't mean to hurt the mermaid.
But now that I had gotten it, I couldn't be careless and let it go.
I have to talk to her.
But the best thing is that I allowed her to tell her life story and tell me why she followed me on the water from the beginning and what was her purpose.

As Lisa finished off the last piece of fruit, she looked up at me with her large, liquid eyes. "Thank you," she said, her voice soft and melodic. "I haven't eaten in what feels like ages."

I chuckled and nodded my head, unable to hide my happiness at the fact that I had been able to help her. "You're welcome," I replied. "I'm glad I could help. But I have to ask... Why did you follow me?
I ...i mean, what was your purpose in seeing me every day?
Seeing a legendary creature like you is not something I encounter every day.
You must have a good reason, good girl."
I asked her in a serious tone.
"I am waiting for your answer"
