Lisa was lying in her grandmother's bed, breathing in short, shallow breaths. She had only been sleeping for a few hours when she was awakened by the gentle touch of her grandmother's hand stroking her hair.
She sat down in surprise and looked around the room. And an ethereal glow shines on her grandmother's tired and lined face.
As Lisa gazed at her, her heart filled with a mix of relief and confusion. What had happened last night? It was all a blur; she couldn't remember anything after that shark attacked her.
Tears welled up in her eyes, and before she knew it, they were streaming down her cheeks as she wrapped her arms around her grandmother and buried her face in the soft fabric.
Her grandmother let out a soft sigh as she held the girl close, her eyes filled with a mix of sadness and love. "My dear child," she whispered, her voice trembling. "What happened?"
Through her tears, the Mermaid struggled to find the words to explain what she'd experienced. "It was... a monster," she said finally, her voice choking on the words. "It attacked me in the ocean, and I... I thought I was going to die."
Her grandmother's face darkened with anger and concern, and she held the girl close, her hand stroking her hair in a soothing, rhythmic motion. "Shh, shh," she whispered. "It's all right, sweetheart. You're safe now."
The Mermaid nodded, clinging to her grandmother's side as she tried to calm her rattling breath. She was grateful to be safe, but she knew that something was still very wrong.
With a soft sigh, her grandmother sat up, pulling the girl up with her. "Come on, my dear," she said, her voice gentle but firm. "Let's go make breakfast.
I think we both need to eat something."The Mermaid nodded weakly, the Mermaid felt her sense of fear and confusion slowly give way to a feeling of warmth and comfort.
Her grandmother's love and kindness had a way of making everything feel better, and she was grateful for it more than she could...

After a few minutes, Lisa noticed that her grandmother's silence had grown longer than usual. She didn't seem to be in a mood to talk, and the Mermaid started to feel a sense of unease.
"Grandma?" she finally asked, her voice wavering slightly. "Is something wrong?"
Her grandmother turned to face her, her face a mask of concern. "Darling, is there something you're not telling me? Is there something you're hiding?"
The Mermaid felt a lump form in her throat, and she struggled to find the words to explain what had happened. But before she could say anything, her grandmother stepped towards her and wrapped her in a gentle hug and said:"I don't want anything to happen to you, my beautiful girl, I know you are hiding something, but there should be serious consequences for you, but not from me.
During this time, when our people had problems with hunting fish and lack of food, people became very nervous and besides that, worse things may happen and I can't risk that a problem will happen to you, I want you to be honest with me, my beautiful.
Whatever it is, we'll face it together. Just know that I love you, no matter what.""Ok, I'm not trying to hide anything, especially you, you're the only person I have in my life." Lisa said softly
The Mermaid let out a shaky breath, crying into her grandmother's shoulder. She felt safe in her arms, and she knew that she would always have her support. And in that moment, she realized that she didn't need to be afraid. She could face whatever came her way, as long as she had her family by her side.
Her grandmother stroked her hair reassuringly, and the Mermaid felt a sense of calm wash over her. She knew that everything would be alright, and she was grateful to have such a loving and supportive family. As she sat there, wrapped in her grandmother's embrace, she realized just how lucky she was.
