The group were near the top. They were close to ending the mystery of where the dragons had hidden for all these years. They hoped the dragon whisperer was a good person, but they didn't have high hopes.
Once they reached the cave, they were scared to go in. Amethyst's baby dragon, Ash, was fast asleep in Amethyst's arms. There was something about the cave. "Do you think this is the right place?"
"Yea."
"Should we go in?"
"Kenni, have you ever climbed a mountain and not explored every cave."
"No."
"Then don't ask stupid questions."
Amethyst felt helpless. Fear was a painful emotion. Something they had never felt so intensely before. She was about to go back on herself when Itachi spoke. "Amethyst, do you know why you feel such fear?"
"N-no."
"Then look."
Itachi covered Amethyst's eyes. His magic was powerful. It showed a young Amethyst. She was playing with her father, then he spoke. "Never must you go to the dragon's lair." Uncovering Amethyst's eyes, something felt lifted off her shoulders. Something changed. Amethyst lead everyone into the cave.
