English called the lingua franca,
Though my notions disagree.
The language spoken the most of all
Is synonymous with empathy.
Compassion and empathy
Also called misericordia in Latin
Is the language of love
Spoken with a touch if silks and satin.
A language without alphabets
That needn't a use of a letter.
Spoken by people and beasts alike
Makes living a lot better.
Actions speak louder than words
A rule that goes spoken, unbroken
Across species spread out on this vast land
Care is an universal token.
