A chance encounter brought me to the heavens
Oh the Lord forbid.
My sentiments entangled with
A soul so distant,
An obsession almost morbid.
A smile that smittens my mortal
Eyes resembling a crescent
Open a portal
Leading me to my darling
As my angels descend.
A simple existence
A mere exchange
Has entrapped my heart
In a pure sentimental cage.
I love thee
I love thee
No matter how these words spell
No word in the lexicon
Can so my heartstrings tell.
A chance encounter so ethereal
Unmatched resides in my heart.
Oh, who but you, my forever sweetheart.
