Crimson Tears

With a dying soul
I sit in the same moors
Where I earlier strayed
Reimagining your warmth.
Here I am all alone
On this chilly winter night
Did we have to part?
Did it have to end?
Did my hope had to be lost?
I sit on the cold grass
My feet buried in the frost.
You said you are just 'round the corner,
But also said the earth was round.
I see no end to this empty moor
Just a cold wet lawn
I turned every stone over
Kissed every blade of grass
All in vain, all alone.
On the same sand I sit
No longer capable of thinking
Nor dreaming of your tender burn
The ground is stained with my love
As my heart rests on the damp sand
Pumping out hot blood.
My crimson tears melt all boulders
Our find memories burn holes into
My cold skin.
Was it all a lie?
All a fragment of my imagination?
As the crimson tears garnish my frame
I drown in the sea called you,
My temptation.
