seasonal depression

*TW: FOR THOSE WHO SUFFER ANY FORM OF DEPRESSION*

fall slowly roles around and every morning it gets harder to get up...to want to brush your teeth...really do anything, your anxiety at times catches you off guard during the day and you can't help but sit in silence dealing with it. you mainly go to work, college, and the occasional hangouts with the gang and especially with donnie. he knows what you go through and he either stays with you till you sleep or finds ways to ease things, you don't particularly like the idea of him always worrying about you but then again it's something you really appreciate. you're at your apartment ready up on an old magazine you use to read.

*thud*
"hmm?" you get up to see where it came from
"oh sorry, i accidentally bumped into one of your plants in your room"

donnie always uses your bedroom window to come in

"how you feel...?" he pats your head
"numb...i don't know it's like i'm fine but i know i'm not"
"it's only seasonal...remember that, but remember i'm always here" he pulls you close to hug you "did you atleast eat?"
"..."
"(y/n)?..."
"no..." you frown
"sweetheart...you need to eat something..."
"i can't...I just can't" you place your hands over your face

he has experienced seasonal depression before and understands but he begins to worry

"how about this, i make that ramen you like that i always make for you, what do you say? he knows you could never refuse that special ramen that he makes
"ok..."

you both head to the kitchen. a good about of time passes and you finally eat, you finished the entire bowl which put a smile on his face

"see? that wasn't so bad (y/n)"
"no, it was really good" you smile
"that's my girl, now let's go watch some tv"

you both head to the couch, he lays down first and pats his lap, motioning for you to sit on him, you sit on him and he puts his arms around you

"thanks...for being here for me...i know normally i want to be alone but...i'm glad you didn't leave me alone"
"it's no problem, like i said...i'm always going to be here for you" he kiss your cheek and smiles at you
