a month after the wedding, you moved into the lair and for the past month and a couple of weeks, he's secretly been setting up an abandoned small wearhouse he found near the lair where he can be close to his family. he's getting the help from his brothers and making sure everything goes right to make not only him happy but you happy, as he sets up as he
looks more at the blueprints and what he sketched out

"how's it looking?" asked mikey
"you think she'll want like a extra room for something ?" asked donnie while he had his hand rested on his face
"what kind of room?"
"i don't know...like a computer room, a hobby room...." he starts to whisper "a nursery..."
"a what?!"

he clears his throat before speaking

"a nursery..."
"wait... are you guys trying to.." mikey implies
"no no! well... not yet atleast..."
"well... when?"
"i dunno, she hasn't really said anything"

Mikey thinks for a moment

"you haven't asked?"
"i mean... there was this one time a while back..."

"well she's always said she wanted kids and how cool they would look cause they'll be human mutant turtle hybrids and how nice it would be to have a family"

Mikey sees the spark in his brothers eyes and how excited his tone sound

"why not leave it empty for now and just go from there ?"
"I guess so... I just.. want her to have everything"
"c'mon, you know (y/n), she always says that she has everything"
"yea but-"
"look dude... you've been with her since we were kids, you saved her when she got kidnapped, her dad dying, went through what felt like a forever process of almost separation, i could go on if i need to...
"don't..."
"anyways...the point is... she does have everything with you... don't ever doubt it"

Both brothers sit in silence for a moment, up until raph shows up

"is the final room done or not ?" said raph in slight frustration because he wants to get the home done with already
"no, i just... what do i turn this into ?!" Donatello yells in frustration
"why don't you just ask?" Raph asks in confusion
"Because she doesn't know"
"Right, right, well when are you gonna tell her ?"

"then leave it alone and have her look at it"

Leo comes in as well

"Guys, dinner is almost ready" said Leo
"Oooo what is it ?" Mikey gets close
"Ramen"
*gasp* "she didn't..."

"Out of my way" raph leaves and heads back to the lair
"Behind you!" Mikey follows

Leo and Donnie look at each other, they follow

"So, is it almost done?" Leo asked Donnie, curious about the new place
"It's almost done but I don't know what to make the last room"
"Why not just leave it ?"
"Why does everyone keep saying that ?!"

As they walk back, you see them come in

"Hi guys!" You say from the lair kitchen
"Serve it up miss thing, I'm hungry" Mikey sat down
"Alright alright... relax... it's ready"
"Hey you" Donnie walked up to you

"Not when I'm eating"
"Mikey... she's my wife now..."
"God... and to think raph and Mona do the most"
"Shut it" raph flicks Mikey's head
"Ow!"
"Guys!" You look glare like a mother would
"Don't look at us like that, you're not my mom" said raph
"Whatever..." mentally you keep to yourself because that phrase hits a little close to home

As you all eat, you eat little by little, but distract

"Hey don?"
"Yes ?"
"Is there any reason half of our stuff is missing ?"

Donnie gulps cause you're starting to catch on that he's setting up the place

"Uh... I have no clue what you're talking about"
"Um... you should cause I don't see my boxes from when I left my apartment and half your stuff in your lab isn't there"
"Um... I'm renovating..."
"Really..."
