as you guys roamed around the night of new
york city you both went through times square only because it's the only place where donnie wouldn't be seen as a mutant but just as a guy with the costume on, though he had his human watch and sweater he needed a break from it time to time

"so what do we do now?, we're at like the worst spot" you said
"i guess we can finish our stroll, haven't seen anything new"

you guys start heading back but there was no way of budging, it was completely packed

"we should've gone to the bronx or something" he said

"well since we're stuck just hold my hand for now, i don't want you disappearing on me

you held into his hand, as you guys wait for people to move it was moving slowly

"here put these on" donnie passes you some air pods
"airpods?"
"not just any airpods, i made them that play whatever song your thinking about"

you guys then stroll down times square still slow but you guys didn't care, the song was just on repeat the whole time. you guys then stop for a moment again because it became crowed again, as you stood there donnie just grabbed you from behind and put his head on your neck, you're about (y/h) meaning shorter than he is and planted a kiss on you, you smile at him and give one back, as you guys started moving again he still held you and once everyone stopped again he then turns you around and kisses you all over your face, you can't help but laugh and enjoy every bit of this PDA, donnie normally wasn't a big fan just cuz moments like these were too special to show off but who knew what sparked him to change at that moment

"you're awfully cuddly today" you said
"what do you not like it?, i can stop if you need me to"
"no no, it's nice, i really like it" you kiss his cheek

the entire crowd was still not moving so donnie eventually decided to jet pack the both of you off

"omg i'm tired of this, hold on" he grabbed you while he started his battle shell jetpack

you guys flew out of there and surprisingly no one grew shocked or anything, it's new york city, nothing weird is anything to go gaga for anymore
