"Follow along everyone," Emarie perked as we followed her through the twists and mazes of our living quarters. The whole building was 12 storeys tall, each for one district, for district 5 we were located just below the middle floor. Upon entering, my jaw dropped to the floor, there was one singular room, that was bigger than the mayor's house adorned with decorations, expensive pieces of art and sculptures and furniture too grand to touch.
"This is your living room. It's a bit smaller than the rest but I suppose it'll do," Emarie sighed in dissatisfaction whilst Smith sniggered.
"Stephanie your bedroom is to the right, Caspian yours is on the left," Emarie said, pointing to the second floor which I presumed to be much bigger than the living room. "And the dining room will be through that door," Emarie pointed to the door at the far end of the living room. "Gregorio, your room will be-"
"I already know where I'll be, opposite Caspian's," Smith sighed. He looked worn out, he already knew our fate. "Tomorrow we'll begin training,"
"Yes but today you two get your rest, dinner will be served in 30 minutes," Emarie smiled, leaving us 3 alone.
"Wanna go look at our rooms?" Cass asked.
"Hell yeah," I smiled. We clambered up the stairs and went to my room first. Upon opening the door I was greeted with a king sized bed with gold bedding with red and orange highlights. The window looking out the Capitol had the most breathtaking view ever.
"It's so...big," I trailed off.
"That's what she said," he sniggered in reply. I laughed back. Maybe the next few days wouldn't be as bad as I thought.
"Look," Cass Said, holding up a remote which was perched on the window sill, "It changes," he clicked at the window a few times, changing each scene. He stopped at a forest one, knowing it was my favourite.
"Lets go to your one," I followed him through the corridor into his room. It had the same features but located slightly differently. The bathroom door was held slightly ajar and I followed him in. The shower had more buttons than I could count.
"One for heat, cool, medium, spa, sprinkle..." Cass' voice trailed off. "Do you remember winter, the only bath we had then was when you fell into the icy lake when we were going ice skating," He said. I laughed, after that I had caught a case of Hypothermia.
"I never wanted to touch water after that," I smiled.
"Dinners ready," Emarie's voice sounded from below. As we cascaded down the stairs I was met with the aromatic smell of dinner.
The table was lined with a white table cloth, extending over a long table overfilled with food which could comfortably feed all 12 districts. I felt a rumble in my stomach and began feasting on anything I laid my eyes on, basted turkey, sandwiches, ice cream, steak, meat pies and salads. Caspian was already feasting seconds before me and somehow managed to consume half of the table.
"Slow down you two look like you've never seen food in your life," Emarie joked, but the fact was we had never seen this much food before.
"Alright off to bed," Gregorio said, catching on to my thoughts.

I tossed and turned in my bed, it was the most comfortable thing I've laid on but I couldn't shake this eerie feeling off me. I arose and walked down to Caspian's room. He smiled at me, almost knowing that I was coming making room for me in his bed.
"Can't sleep?" He asked.
"No, you too?" I responded.
"Yeah me too," he said wrapping me in his arms of warm friendship. That night I slept the best I've ever slept before
