"Stay here, I'll finish them off," Cass said, walking off, "You still need to recover," He said and just as he said that I felt another jab in my abdomen, knowing he was right.
Minutes went by when I heard a canon go off. I tired to keep my composure, maybe like the last time Caspian had been able to defeat the other tributes.
But when I heard female laughter emerging towards me, I felt my heart drop. "Guess who died. That's right, your beloved lover boy did," Regina walked up in a sing song voice.
"And Grove and I had so much fun slicing lover boys head off," She cackled.
I felt a surge of rage go through me. I stood up, sward in hand, getting ready to stab it deep into the witches heart.
She produced 2 knifes from her pockets, just as ready as I was. I lunged at her, she deflected my attack, swinging the knives at my face. I dodged but she managed to slice my arm, I winced but carried on. I aimed towards her knives, knocking them out of her hands and began hand to hand combat. I got a good grip around her neck, throwing her onto the floor, where a trickle of blood dyed her blonde hair.
As I was about to reach for my sword, she flipped me over, landing on top of me. She picked up one of her knives getting ready to slice my neck, when I felt the grip of my sword. I bought my arm around her, stabbing the knife deep into her. Her eyes opened  up as wide as her mouth as she collapsed, dead. The canon boomed for the last time. Ending the 100th Hunger Games.
However I was only half victorious, I stood up sobbing, I had lost my other half. A feeling that I wished on no one overcame me as my eyes flooded with tears, mourning for my lost one.
"Caspian," I said softly, repeating his name over and over as though it would have bought him back.
Heavy gasps of a person walked towards me, I looked up, half expecting Grove, ready to be crowned victor, but to my joy it wasn't.
"Caspian!" I yelled flying into his warm embrace, planting my lips onto his. I kissed him as though I wouldn't see him ever again.
"I thought you were dead," We simultaneously said. I laughed, burying my head deep into his shoulder. I had done the impossible. We had done the impossible.
