I could feel a pulsating, throbbing sensation in my head. I groaned at the pain, feeling almost if my head was splitting in two. My eyes blinked open, seeing things in a blur, but it didn't matter since everything was dark, except for a light haze from a hole in the roof.
I tried sitting up, but I was instantly overcame with a dizziness that knocked me back down onto my back. I let out a whimper from the pain, wanting it to stop. It was then when I heard footsteps and a set of keys jingling around.
I tried once again to move in fear of the blue-eyed-man coming.
Flashes of him tearing at the wolf's throat, the crunching of their throats. Him smiling at the ending of their lives, wiping away the blood from his mouth.
I screamed seeing a shadow of a man, falling out of the bed and onto the concrete floor with a heavy thud. I grabbed at my head feeling the pain sky rocket.
I could hear the bar doors open, and a set of footsteps rushing over to my shivering body. Unlike the blue eyed man, this person's touch was warm and gentle.
He lifted my hands off my head, and took it into his own grasp, examining it carefully. "You have a concussion," he muttered under his breath. Before I could even refuse, he scooped me into his arms, and placed me gently on the bed.
For a second, I took in his features, noticing that he had to be only 25 at the oldest. He was attractive, having broad shoulders, and a strong facial structure, but his eyes were a soft hazel. He looked at my head, and took caution with every touch, making sure not to hurt me.
He perched his lips, when he came across a spot that instantly made me wince. "He did a number on you," he shook his head in disappointment. "You'll have to forgive him, he isn't use to humans."
I scoffed in disbelief. "You want me to forgive him?" I grew angry at that, slapping away his hand from my head, backing away. "He kidnapped me! He killed those animals! He did this to me!"
For whatever reason, something I had said seemed to make the guy laugh. "If he didn't kill those animals, then they would have killed you."
I froze at the thought, at perhaps that he may have been saving me, but I shook it away as fast as it came. "How would he have known that? They made no move to attack me!" I yelled again frustrated, despite the ball of pain in my head.
He shook his head again, walking back to the bar doors. "Rest," he said, while opening the door, and locking them as soon as he was out of the room, so I wouldn't run away. "You don't understand what is going on child. This is beyond you," without another word, he left.
I was left to my own thoughts having nothing else to do.
I thought about everything. I thought about everything I've done in my life, all the moments filled with happiness as I grew up with a loving father and mother. Then I thought about, how much my dad has been immersed in his work since her death, only stopping to eat occasionally and use the restroom.
I brought my legs up to my chest, hugging myself in a warm embrace, remembering that only yesterday I was laughing with my friends.
I looked around looking at the muggy cell, knowing that my life will be forever changed. I probably will stay locked in this cell for the rest of my life, and that's if the man didn't decide to kill me.
"If he didn't kill those animals, then they would have killed you." I wondered if that would have really happened if the man didn't arrive at that moment, and killed them.
I remembered how menacing they looked with their teeth bared in a threat, but for some reason I couldn't shake the feeling that I would have been alright. Maybe they would have been able to save me if I just followed along and did not waste time. It was pointless thinking about that now though because they would never come back.

My eyes opened to a dark figure. I realized that I must have dozed off. I blinked my eyes, barely noticing that the dark figure was indeed the blue eyed man.
He covered my mouth with one hand before I could let out a scream, and captured my wrists above my head with the other hand.
I screamed into his hand, watching him lower himself onto me, peering into my eyes once again. I could see his jaw clench, frustrated that I was still struggling against him, and the fighting did not help with my head injury at all.
I could see dark spots dance around my vision, and slowly my protests were weakening.
"Be still," he commanded. I felt a pull towards his words, feeling my body start to betray me and give into his order. My muscles slacked, and I felt his grip on me lax. He made sure to keep eye contact, repeating the same command of "being still."
My eyebrows narrowed in confusion, at the sudden change in my character. My head felt light, and for some reason I felt a certain calmness around him.
He lifted himself off of me, sitting by my side on the edge of the bed. I stared at him, motionless, pulled into his attention.
His lips held a light smirk as he tucked away a loose strand of hair behind my ear. He held my cheek after that, rubbing his thumb across the tip of my lips, and with every soft touch, I felt a peaceful, electric buzz. I found myself leaning into his touch, not wanting him to stop. I was captivated.
But when another shock went through me as he caressed my cheek again, I realized what he was doing. I turned to the side, breaking eye contact, and just like that, my body felt free again. I was in control again.
I heard him tsk in disapproval.
I closed my eyes, not wanting to be under his spell again.
I guess that theory is true then. Compulsion.
"P-Please just let me go," I managed to stutter out.
I gasped as I felt him roughly grab my chin and forced me to face his direction. I kept my eyes jammed shut instinctively.
I tried to push away from his touch, feeling hot sparks with every little contact he made with my skin. For the first time he obeyed me, and dropped his hand from my face. That didn't keep me from remaining to have my eyes closed.
It was silent for a moment.
I couldn't feel his weight on the bed anymore, and with one little glance I managed to see nothing in the darkness. I opened both my eyes to see no sign of him.
He was gone.
