The girl was smothering him, and my jaw hung open seeing him respond back to the sloppy kiss.

I looked at the guards besides him, and they too rolled their eyes at the girl. Clearly they were use to this. I tried to look away but I was drawn to their not so little make out session. I was also infuriated, and it took all my power to try and not yank the girl off of his lips.

Something was wrong with me and I knew it.

Yeah I've liked some guys before, but this was crazy. It's as if every atom in my body wanted to claim him as mine.

I groaned, and the girl took that moment to stop kissing him and look at me in distaste. She looked back at him, pouting her lips, and rubbing her hand on his chest. "Alec sweetie, who is this?" I sensed a little distain in her voice as she addressed me.

He looked at me, "Oh this is just someone I met along the way."

My eyes widened at his statement, completely waving me off, and started kissing her again.

Jeezus. Do they breathe???

I saw his tongue dive into her mouth, and took this as the moment to begin gagging.

She stopped again, bothered by my presence. "Why did you bring a human here Alec."

He paused for a silent second, and then let out a little, pinching her cheek to stop her from frowning. "Just see business to attend to."

She let out a little whine, "What business could you have with a human?" She emphasized on the word "human" as if it was some kind of disease.

He whispered in her ear, and what ever he said seemed to please her. He spoke a few more words into her ear, keeping his eyes on me, having a mischievous glint in his eyes.

Go figures he was a playboy.

He was just like Gabriel.

I felt a pinching sensation in my chest. It's been a while since I've seen all my friends, and I wondered if they were looking for me. I knew Kate and her stubborn ass would be breaking things to get to me, and I grew nervous. In a way, I wished that they didn't look for me. I didn't want any of them to stumble across the woods, and be captured by vampires, or worse

I stormed off into the village, not waiting for Alec. I needed some time to myself and think. My mood dampened as I remember my dad and his frantic call right before I was taken. I had a bad feeling about the whole situation.

I really hoped that he was healthy. Losing my mom did a little something to him, but losing me too would probably destroy him. I was the only one that kept him in check, balancing his work time and making sure he ate all the proper meals.

He had a habit of just boiling up some water and making ramen whenever I stayed a little later to study for college. It wasn't unnatural to find him asleep on top of a pill of papers, blueprints and mathematical equations for his inventions.

He was one of the smartest people I knew, having a Phd in mechanical engineering, and being one of the top researchers in the west coast. But he was also one of the most childish people I knew, barely knowing how to take care of himself.

I reached a little creek.

I let out a sigh before crunching down and kicking a pebble into the steady water, watching it get carried away by the current and out of my sight.
