There wasn't very much summer left after the festival. A week and a half really. It all seemed to go so fast that I honestly can't remember those days. But I do remember the fact that all of my siblings were leaving for the school year.

"All of you?" I asked.

Patrick nodded. "Pretty much yeah. I'm going back to Mississippi."

"My mom's expecting me and Insley in Austin," Justin said.

"I'm going with Ashton to live with his mom," Charlie explained. "My dad... doesn't really like trans and queer community, but Ashton's mom is cool so I'm going with him."

"Maybe you'll finally get some action if it's just the two of you," Insley teased.

"Oh shove it, Walker," Charlie told him.

"You gonna be okay on your own?" Patrick asked.

"I'm not gonna be completely alone," I reminded. "Will and Nico aren't going anywhere."

"Well at least we're making your first few months as head counselor easy," Ashley said.

I directed Ivory to dive down at her. Ashley squeaked in alarm and ducked further, nearly hitting the tops of the trees.

"Hey, easy on the pegasi," Malcolm called.

"She started it," Ashley protested.

I laughed. The smile slowly faded as the words of the prophecy echoed in my head. At least they wouldn't be waiting for me. They would be in their own worlds, living their lives. I'm not sure I could have asked for more.

And I do remember the last campfire of the year.

There had been a time that I couldn't go near the campfire because of the memories. Now, I just wanted to sit with my siblings before they all headed out.

Austin and Kayla led the sing along, both with smiles on their faces.

Cabin Nine handed out the beads for the year. It was two sided. One side had an image of Nero's Tower along with the sun behind it, the glow burning through the tower. The other side was electric blue, with an almost neon yellow lightning bolt. We all knew what that lightning bolt stood for.

I undid the knot on my necklace and slid the bead next to the one from the Giant War. Jason's lightning bolt was pressed against my collarbone. I pressed it tight against my skin.

I took a breath and stood up. "I'm gonna turn in early," I told my siblings. "Try and get some more sleep."

"We'll be in soon," Malcolm promised.

I sent him a smile and nodded. I walked down the ampitheatre and saw Christopher at the end.

"Hey, Chris," I called. The son of Hephaestus looked up. He was holding the leather necklaces along with a small bag of beads.

"Hey Parrish, what's up?" he asked.

"I don't know what happened, but Charlie didn't get a necklace or a bead," I told him. "I'm heading to the cabin, is it okay if I just take it with me?"

"Yeah, of course," he said. "Sorry, I don't know how that happened."

"It's okay, just a simple mistake," I brushed off. He gave me the leather cord and a bead. I gave him a small thanks and kept walking.

I waited until I was a good distance away before I started.

Apollo? I don't know if you can hear me, but I have something for you, I prayed.
