Jordan burst into the apartment. He went straight to his bedroom.

"Where are we going anyway?" I asked.

"We're getting out of here as fast as we can," he replied. "That means going down I-15 to the airport. Pack up your stuff."

I moved into the kitchen. I pulled off a page of a mini calendar on the fridge. I grabbed a pen and paused. How do I do this so someone will understand it?

I drew a hasty picture than a phletora of dots. I dropped the pen and grabbed Jordan's mug.

He walked down the hall, two duffel bags over his shoulder. "You ready?" He asked.

I nodded and tugged on my backpack strap. "Have everything I need in here," I said. I held out the mug. "Thought you might want this though."

Despite the situation he let himself smile a little. He took the mug and placed it in a side pocket of his duffel. "Let's get going."

================================================

I may have already said this, but I didn't like waiting. It drove my ADHD wild and made me fidgety and restless. I kept tapping the doorhandle, my dog tags, my necklace, the console. I know it nearly drove Jordan crazy.

"It's okay," he told me. "We're almost there."

I shook my head. "It feels wrong Jordan. Leaving them, leaving the town. It feels wrong."

"You wanted to leave from the beginning," he pointed out.

"I did," I admitted. "But this isn't the same."

"What changed?" he questioned.

Before I could answer, we ran over something. The car swerved and Jordan reached a hand out to steady me as he slammed on the brakes. He stopped and put it in park. I panted, thrown off from the sudden adrenaline rush.

"You okay?" he asked.

I nodded and undid my seatbelt. "I still prefer pegasi."

We both got out. I checked the tires to see giant holes, the material shredded. "Liz?" he called.

"Tires are destroyed," I responded. I walked around the car to see a spike strip ten feet down the road. "Now I can see why."

Police sirens echoed from down the highway. A brown sheriff's cruiser came down the road, stopping right before the strip. I leaned back against Jordan's car, hiding a smile. The sheriff turned off the lights and sirens before he stepped out.

"I don't remember giving you any vacation time," the man said.

Jordan groaned. "These were new tires!" he exclaimed.

Stilinski shrugged. "Well they're scrap rubber now," he stated. "How about I call a tow for you?"

Jordan sighed and rolled his eyes. He went to the drivers seat and came back with his phone. "I'll call one myself," he declared.

I lifted up my hand as another set of headlights joined us. The lights turned off and Lydia stepped out of the Toyota. Jordan groaned in annoyance. I had to bite my lip to hide my smile.

"You're both out of your minds!" he exclaimed. "You know that? How'd you even find us?"

"Well it helps when someone leaves a note," the sheriff said.

Jordan paused and looked at me with betrayl in his eyes. I shrugged. "You wouldn't listen to me. Figured one of these two had a better shot."

"You can't leave," Lydia began, walking over.
