Baby.

Lots of students look on nosily as Kiaras loaded into the ambulance, still winching in pain. one of the onlookers being JJ.

"Ok Kiara where does it hurt sweetie" the paramedic asks.

"Ahh my stomach"

He feels her stomach and his face instantly changes.

"I think..... you might be having a baby"

"What! No way! Fuck that!"

"Tony!" He shouts to the driver "we're in labour"

"No no this can't be happening to me" Kiara cries as she struggles in pain.

"Right kiara look at me. I need you to push. Ok? 1 2 3 push!!"

"Ahhhhhh" Kie screams in pain until she hears a cry, a baby's cry.

She's in complete shock, how the hell didn't she know? And more importantly, what the hell was she going to do.

Kiaras lying in a hospital bed now, staring up at the ceiling. Completely numb, just trying to block everything out. She felt like if she could just pretend it wasn't happening, it would just ..... go away.

"Kiara! Darling!" Her mum rushes in straight to her putting her hands either side of Kiaras face.

"Sweetheart why didn't you tell me!"

"I didn't know" she whispers

"Oh come on baby your a smart girl, you must of.."

"Mum I didn't know! Ok?" She raises her voice.

"Ok" her mum relaxes slightly sitting down in the chair next to her bed. Her eyes move to the crib next to them, she can hear the baby wriggling and making noises.

"Mum what am I going to do" kiara sobs.

"Just rest, we'll talk about it all later"

Kiara finally falls asleep, she was exhausted.

*The next morning

"Hi Sarah she's just resting" Anna says

Kiaras eyes open to the sound of her mums and Sarah's voices.

"Kie!" Sarah runs over and engulfs her in a hug. Kie flinches slightly in pain but hugs her back, she was comforted to see her best friend.

They are both now sat up in her bed.

"So." Kie starts "how was the English presentation?"

"What the actual fuck Kiara?" Sarah answers baffled

"I didn't know Sarah, I would've told you"

Sarah smiles slightly and looks at the baby.

"She's beautiful"

"Yeah she is"
