The next night and JJ 's at Kies house again.

Lilly's felll asleep in JJ's arms to he gently puts her in her crib.

"She's so calm with you, I can never get her to settle that quickly with me" Kie curls up on her bed.

"It's because she can smell the milk.."

"How the hell do you know that?" Kie asks baffled

"Research" he shrugs

"Research?" She chuckles

"Yeah, if I'm gunna be the best dad I can be I wanna know all the facts" he replies sitting down next to her.

Kie smiles at him, it's cute how hard he's trying.

"Would you ever want me to bring her to yours?" Kie asks

"To the chateau?"

"Yeah why not? She could meet your friends, and I feel bad that it's always you coming here, I could come to you instead"

"Ok yeah, sure" JJ smiles, he's been scared that she might turn her nose up at his living situation, considering she had such a big nice house. But he can tell by now that she isn't phased by that, she's not like all the other kooks, he's not even sure she really is a kook?

"Ok" Kie nods "tomorrow?"

"Sure"

They're silent for a few moments, both sat next to each other on her bed. She looks over to to him looking at Lilly, it's adorable. Suddenly he turns to meet her gaze.

"Your blushing"

"Am i?" She looks down embarrassed

"no I didn't mean.... It's cute" he takes his hand to turn her face back to him. "That's better" he says softly.

They just stare into each other's eyes, both starting to lean in, wanting to be closer.

Kie pauses when there an inch apart.

"We ..." she breathes heavily "we shouldn't..... it's a bad idea"

"A terrible idea" JJ replies closing his eyes as she start to close the remaining gap between them.

"Kiara is there someone...." Anna walks in the door.

JJ and Kie immediately move away from each other.

Anna looks at JJ, recognising him from a few weeks back.

"Oh!" She raises her voice " more catch up homework is it?!"

"Mum shushhhhh, she's asleep" kiara pleads

Her mum looks towards the crib, then back at JJ and Kiara.

"You?" She directs at JJ. Then turning to Kiara "him?"

"Oh you've got to be kidding me!"
