Ben's heart raced as he walked toward Yasmin and Will's apartment. He had been contemplating this for a while now, and he felt that the timing was finally right. With Gabi's 23rd birthday approaching, he couldn't think of a better moment to take the next step in their relationship.

As he knocked on their door, his mind was a whirlwind of emotions. He had talked to Will before about proposing to Gabi, and he hoped that they could help him plan the perfect proposal.

Yasmin opened the door with a smile, her eyes gleaming with curiosity. "Hey, Ben! What brings you here?"

Ben cleared his throat nervously. "Hey, Yasmin. Is Will around too? I kind of wanted to talk to both of you."

Yasmin stepped aside, allowing him to enter. "Sure thing. Will's in the living room."

As Ben entered the living room, he found Will lounging on the couch, engrossed in a book. He looked up, a grin forming as he closed the book and set it aside. "Hey, man. What's up?"

Ben took a deep breath, his nerves getting the best of him. "Actually, there's something important I wanted to talk to you guys about."

Yasmin and Will exchanged a knowing glance before turning their attention back to Ben. "Well, spill it. We're all ears," Yasmin said, crossing her arms and leaning against the wall.

Ben took a moment to gather his thoughts. "You know how Gabi's birthday is coming up, right?"

Yasmin's eyes widened in realization, a playful smirk tugging at her lips. "Oh, I see where this is going."

Will chuckled, nodding in agreement. "You're planning to propose, aren't you?"

Ben nodded, feeling a mix of excitement and nerves. "Yeah, I am. I've been thinking about it for a while now, and I feel like this is the right time. But I could really use your help with the whole planning part."

Yasmin's expression softened, her playful demeanor fading as she spoke with sincerity. "Ben, you know how much Gabi means to me. If you hurt her, you'll have me to deal with."

Ben chuckled nervously, understanding the seriousness behind her words. "Trust me, Yasmin, I would never do anything to hurt her. She's the most important person in my life, and I want to make this moment special for her."

Will leaned forward, clapping Ben on the shoulder. "We've got your back, man. We'll help you plan the perfect proposal. Just make sure it's something she'll remember forever."

Ben smiled gratefully, his heart filled with appreciation for their support. "Thanks, you guys. I really appreciate it."

Yasmin grinned, her mischievous spark returning. "Alright, let's get to work. We've got a proposal to plan!"

As they started discussing ideas and details, Ben felt a surge of excitement. With his friends by his side, he was determined to create a proposal that would show Gabi just how much she meant to him. And as they continued to brainstorm and laugh together, he couldn't help but feel grateful for the friendships and love that surrounded him.

I was engrossed in my book, lost in the world of its pages, when I heard the door creak open. Looking up, I saw Ben walking in, and a small smile tugged at the corners of my lips. He looked tired but safe, and that's all that mattered to me.

"Hey," he greeted, his voice warm as he dropped his bag by the door.

"Hey," I replied, setting my book aside and sitting up on the couch. "You're back late. Everything okay?"

He walked over, sinking down beside me with a tired sigh. "Yeah, just had some work stuff to sort out. Nothing to worry about."

I studied his face for a moment, making sure he was truly okay. Satisfied with what I saw, I leaned in and gave him a quick kiss. "Alright, if you say so."

He smiled, his hand finding mine as he intertwined our fingers. "So, speaking of things to worry about, your birthday's coming up."

I chuckled, nodding in agreement. "Yeah, in a couple of weeks."

"Any plans yet?" he asked, his eyes bright with curiosity.

I shrugged, not wanting to make a big deal out of it. "Not really, just spending time with you and maybe a nice dinner."

He grinned, leaning back against the couch. "Sounds perfect to me."

He seemed to hesitate for a moment before speaking again. "Hey, Gabi, can I ask you something?"

"Of course," I replied, tilting my head curiously.

He took a deep breath, his gaze fixed on mine. "If you could have your dream proposal, what would it be like?"

I blinked in surprise, caught off guard by the question. "My dream proposal?"

"Yeah," he nodded, his expression earnest. "I'm just curious."

I chuckled softly, a playful smile forming on my lips. "Well, my dream proposal would probably involve a cozy setting, like a cabin in the woods or something. It would be just us, maybe a warm fire crackling in the background. And then, out of nowhere, you would drop down on one knee and ask me to marry you."

He grinned, his thumb gently stroking the back of my hand. "That sounds really nice."

I shrugged, feeling a bit bashful. "It's just a silly daydream."

His smile grew wider, and his gaze held a hint of mischief. "Who says it's a daydream?"

I raised an eyebrow, confused by his response. "What do you mean?"

He chuckled, his eyes locked onto mine. "I mean, dreams can come true, right?"

My heart skipped a beat as his words sunk in. Could he possibly be hinting at something? I looked at him, my eyes searching his for any sign of what he was thinking. But he just gave me a small smile and leaned in to kiss me.

"Goodnight, Gabi," he murmured against my lips, his voice gentle and warm.

"Goodnight," I replied, still lost in my thoughts as he stood up and headed towards our bedroom. As I lay back on the couch, I couldn't help but wonder what he was up to. Could my dream proposal actually become a reality?
