Suga: As a student the subjects I was good at were social studies, history, and gym. My music grade was unexpectedly just average.

Jimin: As a student the subjects I was good at were math, gym, and arts. The subjects I weren't good at were social studies and history.

Suga: "I want to be an adult that continues to chase dreams."Jimin: "It's because of my father that I am who I am today.

Bangtan Boys released their second Japanese single 'Boy in Luv' in July and have great popularity. Bangtan Boys encountered with hip hop artist Warren G when they stayed in America for a period of time. Their own activities slowly broadened the scope of the world. This interview segment is to show what they are like usually. This month's main characters are Jimin and Suga.

Rebellious Suga and Silly Jimin

Suga: Hello, this is Mini Mini's.

Jimin: Hey hey hey, hold on! I'm supposed to be the MC today! Stop deciding things on your own (laughs).

Suga: Ahaha. But shouldn't we first decide on our group name? So that's why it's Mini Mini's since we both are always fighting for the #1 and #2 shortest in the group.

Jimin: I'm so sad, that's the first thing you think of regarding what we have in common (sad).

Suga: Another thing we have in common is that we both were born in Gyeongsang.

Jimin: Probably because we were born in Gyeongsang, we both are quite nosy.

Suga: This is a regional thing? So we can say that you can pretty much stop speaking satoori to me? (laughs) When I speak to Jimin, I try my best to use standard language.

Jimin: Doesn't matter. I get reminded of my hometown when I'm with Suga. I start to miss my parents. Anyways, what did Suga's parents say to you when you entered the entertainment industry?

Suga: They strongly opposed it for about half a year. My father is a very strict person. Since my parents suffered a lot, they didn't want their own children to suffer like themselves. They wanted their children to become civil servants and live a stable life. But now they say, "Having the ability to realize his own dreams, a child that's worth being proud of." They are now ones that are the most supportive of me.

Jimin: At that time my parents didn't strongly oppose it so I'm so thankful for that. My mother always carried the attitude of "doing what you like." I think my father wanted me to become a prosecutor or lawyer but I told him in high school that I wanted to do music and he easily approved it. He even drove me to my audition. It's all thanks to my father that I get to be who I am today.

Then how about the teachers?

Suga: They opposed it greatly just like my parents; especially my high school year one math teacher who was very strict. That teacher was a drummer when he was in school so he strongly opposed it because he knows how hard it is to make a living doing music. I went to a boys school so we had to cut our hair really short. I was severely lectured when I said, "I don't want to cut my hair since I'm going to audition." Although he was a really strict teacher, I learned a lot from him.

Jimin: I also received blessings from my teachers. My homeroom teacher from junior high third year still remembers me now and even gives me support. "You must continue to do music until you die." I still remember the words of that teacher.

Suga: I'm so envious. I only heard words like, "You will not succeed," "What are you going to do in the future if you go down the music route," etc. But these words make be rise instead and I become determined that "no matter how hard it is, I will succeed in doing music." Maybe you can say that I have come this far all thanks to these belittlement.

Jimin: Can't say for sure.

Did you deliberately say that in order to stimulate Suga's rebeliious side.

Suga: Who knows (laughs). Jimin: Lastly! I'm already 20 years old although I can't believe it myself! As someone who became an adult earlier than me, please give me some advice, Suga.

Suga: I don't like adults. How do I say it... Adults understand reality little by little. In order to live comfortably, they gradually forget their own dreams. So that's why I don't think I'm an adult even though speaking age-wise, I am grown up. Even if I'm an adult, I want to become be an adult that will always keep chasing after his dream. Jimin ah, I hope you can become an adult full of pure youth with very, very big dreams - so big that it'll be difficult to achieve.

Jimin: No doubt this is Suga! That's a cool advice, thank you!
