[INTERVIEW] IDOL REPORT - BTS

★ I feel like an idol when ______

- Rap Monster: When I try to make nice expressions in front of the camera. Pre-prepared puns are a must, and [I also feel like an idol] when I slyly use ad-libs while recording videos.

- Suga: When I see placards from the stage while performing. I did a couple of performances before debuting as well, but I never saw any placards like these. After debuting, I've always seen placards everywhere we go with our names on them. Every time I see them, I think "Ah, I've really debuted and become an idol."

- Jin: When I stand on stage. [Also when] People who don't usually contact me say things like "I'm watching your performances well." or "A dongsaeng I know really likes you guys."

- J-Hope: When I sing in front of a lot of fans. When those fans cheer and like us. When I comfortably do aegyo in front of the fans that truly love us.

- Jimin: When I do aegyo without feeling embarrassed.

- Jeongguk: When we go to greet the PDs and scriptwriters after music shows.

- V: When my parents show off about me to their friends.

★ The moment I truly become a 상남자 is when _____

- Rap Monster: I'm normally pretty cautious, so when I become really talkative and impulsive.

- Suga: When I'm making music. When I see myself working hard.

- Jin: When I see a car coming towards me and I pull the other person (with me) towards me.

- J-Hope: When I'm on stage, I'm definitely a 상남자. I usually laugh and joke around a lot so people think of me as a prankster, but I feel that I have to show the 상남자 side of me on stage. I work hard to make sure the song and overall performance gives off a 상남자 feel.

- Jimin: When I finish off a performance in a cool way. An example is from the N.O promotions, when I did a turning kick ^^

- Jeongguk: Whenever I do something with a lot of passion. I want to do everything that others do, and I hate losing to others. I'm the type of person to try whatever I have interest in. "I'd rather die than live without passion." is my motto. But if it doesn't fit me, I immediately give up on it. Haha, I think that this kind of side to me is 상남자-like.

★ Something I want to call my future girlfriend

- Rap Monster: Obviously, it's 자기 (honey)

- Suga: 자기야 (honey). It's one of the most basic names out there, but if I ever find someone I really love, I'd like to call them that.

- Jin: 자기야 (honey). I also want to call them by their nickname and their real name. I also want to call them "yah" at least once. Of course, I'd say that with a lot of power only when we've reached the point where we don't care about calling each other with those kind of names (names like honey, etc)

- J-Hope: 애기야 (baby). In Bangtan's "상남자", there's a line that goes "I want to be your oppa", and I want to be my girlfriend's oppa and be able to call her 애기야 (baby). It doesn't matter if they're a noona or dongsaeng, I'll call them 애기야 (baby).

- Jimin: 여보 (darling).

- Jeongguk: I want to call them 여보 (darling).

- V: 자기야 (honey), 여보야 (darling), 사랑아 (love).

★ A White Day event for my lover

- Rap Monster: I'd fill a basket with candies and chocolates. Girls like chocolate so chocolates are a must. Inside there, I'd put in a USB with a song that I put a lot of effort into making. And then, I'd sing that song for them right then and there.

- Suga: I'm not the type of person who is affectionate enough to plan a big and pretty event. I'd pretend to forget and not know about White Day and suddenly pull out a big candy [box] and say "I bought this while coming here."

- Jin: I'm not the type of person who normally plans events so I don't want to organize a big event. But something I want to try is to pull out a ring while eating dinner at an expensive restaurant. Hahaha~ I think I've watched too many dramas.

- J-Hope: One of Bangtan's strengths is that we write our own songs. I'd focus on this strength and make an beautiful serenade. I want to make a song sweeter than candy.

- Jimin: I've never planned any big events so I don't know. On White Day, I want to package lots of yummy candies in a pretty way and present it like that.

- Jeongguk: I'd prepare lights and speakers somewhere with a nice view and no people. After taking her there, I'd go up on the stage that I set up beforehand and dance and sing for her. Once the song is over, I want to quietly take out candies and chocolates.

- V: I want to rent out a party room and hold a surprise party for my girlfriend.
