"What are you all doing later?" Chryses asked as soon as they'd finished processing their enrollment.

"Girls' date." Samantha quickly replied as she faced Chryses. "Boys aren't allowed to come." She added as she took Amaryllis and Mia, pushing them to exit the building first, creating distance between the two childhood friends and the pair of wealthy heirs.

"I see." Chryses smiled. "Let's eat out next time, then." He called out in a loud voice as he glanced towards Amaryllis and Mia.

"...Sure." Amaryllis' positive response surprised the two girls.

Their interactions have been really suspicious since this morning, prompting Sam to pin an unsavory look towards the man. He's the only person with questionable motives in regards to Amaryllis' change in behavior. The red-head narrowed her eyes. "I don't like giving bits of advice to idiots, but your cluelessness is really astounding..." She raised a brow at his quiet response, seemingly holding back from showing the ugly side of his personality. "Even a rat will bite if cornered."

Chryses' eyes narrowed slightly as Samantha continued pointedly, "Let her catch some breath, Taylor..." She expected no reply when his stare turned a tad bit ugly, so she turned around and joined the girls merrily.

"What did you say to him?" Mia asked curiously.

"That he's a loser for being acquainted with unscrupulous people," she curtly replied.

Mia raised a brow. "...But weren't you also acquainted with those people?"

"Please." Samantha flipped her hair. "I was simply being civil."

Soon, a shiny car stopped in front of them, and she quickly opened the door to the backseat. "Get in. I have something to ask."

Mia's eyes sparkled at the offer presented before her. "Ask away," she replied as she got in quickly, followed by a reluctant Amaryllis.

"But where are we going?" Mia asked.

"...Just... A cafe." Samantha replied before clearing her throat.

As the car drove through the traffic, Amaryllis couldn't help but recognize the route. "The roads are familiar." She opened the window, prompting Mia to do the same.

"This way is to sister Hana's cafe-bakery, right?" Mia glanced at Samantha, hoping for a confirmation. Although she did not reply, their curiosity was soon answered when the driver parked on one of the slots at the familiar cafe.

"How do you know this place?" Mia asked as they got out of the vehicle. Didn't Sam throw the coupon she gave her last time?

"I just found about it," she answered flippantly, sauntering towards the cafe.

Upon Samantha's entry, the female owner's face visibly brightened from behind the counter. Her eyes were only focused on the Bouvier heir as if Amaryllis and Mia were mere background characters. Mia tilted her head. When her smile summons sparkles like that, it usually means the customer is a regular or brings a lot of profit to the cafe. She returned her dubious eyes to Samantha, who seemed very familiar with the place.

"Oh my, welcome back, dearest customer!" Hana greeted them as soon as they reached the counter.

"I'll get three of each from this side of the showcase for us and a cucumber latte, as usual. What about you two?" Samantha pointed towards a direction in the showcase before turning towards the girls beside her.

"Choco latte." - "Cafe americano, for me." Amaryllis and Mia simultaneously answered with dumbfounded stares at the affluent model.

"Understood! I'll serve them quickly." Hana smiled sweetly before turning towards her waiting staff, the smile becoming an irritated scowl. "Hey, big guy! Come back and serve the new customers!"

They followed her line of sight, and all three girls seemed shocked at a mountain coming towards the counter.

"...What's that..?" Mia's jaws dropped as she stared at the tall person scratching his nape while walking towards the counter. "Where did she hire him?" He isn't just tall. His muscles are easily discernible under the tight shirt, creating creases every time he moves his joints. Rather than a waitress, isn't he meant to fill in a bouncer's job?

"...Sir Jesus is here?" Samantha asked while raising a brow.

Sir... Jesus..?
