It was all her fault. It was all Cassie's fault. Elena would die because she failed to protect her and Jeremy would be alone because she made a deal with Klaus to save Caroline. Jenna didn't deserve this, nobody deserved this.
It was her fault.
Jenna clutched her head in pain feeling the heightened effects of being in transition. "Oh, my head. What's wrong with me?"
"Do you remember what happened?" Elena asked.
Cassie watched the aunt and niece duo sitting slightly away from them filled with guilt. The woman was practically her aunt too but she couldn't bring herself to say goodbye. She didn't deserve to say goodbye.
"You called me." Jenna said. "You were so scared. I should have realised that it wasn't you." Katherine, that's who Klaus made her call. "The second I walked out of the house, someone grabbed me. A vampire."
"Klaus. It was Klaus." Elena told her.
Cassie turned her gaze elsewhere. It was her.
"He made me drink his blood. And I don't...I don't remember anything after that." She looks around, anxiously. "Where are we? What happened?"
Elena takes Jenna's hands into her own. "We're at the quarry. He brought us here."
"Why don't I remember anything?" Jenna questioned.
"Jenna, do you remember...When I told you how someone becomes a vampire?"
"Yeah, if you die with vampire blood in your system, it's..." Jenna paused as she realised what had happened to her. "Oh, god. He killed me."
"Jenna, listen to me. Listen to me; everything's going to be okay. I'm going to get you out of here."
"I'm a vampire?"
Greta walks towards them. "And I bet you're hungry."
Elena spotted a sharp rock nearby and rushed to grab it, but, with a wave of her hand, Greta sends her flying backwards. Another wave and a circle of fire appeared, trapping her inside.
"Don't bother trying to get through. I spelled the circle. You're trapped. No matter what you do." The witch said.
"Greta...Please, just- just let her go." She pleaded.
