Chapter 23: Why Is That Rock Hard?

NARRATOR

  Jake wiped his fingers and mouth. He laid his back gently and gave him a peck on the lips. And went to sleep.

  Ethan woke up confused. He didn't know what happened last night because of exhaustion. He glanced at Jake on the balcony sitting and reading books while drinking coffee. He went outside, he stretched in front of Jake.

  "Ethan you're awake, I had breakfast already. Meron na doon na ulam, you can eat na," Jake said to Ethan.

  "Jake hindi pwedeng ikaw nalang lagi ah! Let me serve you too," Ethan pat Jake's back. He went inside to eat. He washed the dishes and started unpacking his stuff. Jake went inside to get a glimpse of Ethan. They both saw the figurines Jake gifted. A smile came from the lips of Ethan. Jake smiled too.

  After several hours, Ethan and Jake finished unpacking. Jake went to the shower first because he did less of his work, while Ethan, he needs to take a rest before showering.

  Jake finished and currently drying his hair. Ethan went in and began to shower. Jake noticed something was missing. He left his phone in the bathroom. He knocked and asked Ethan to hand it.

  "Ethan, naiwan ko cellphone ko dan, can you hand it to me?"

  "Jake I'm wet and naked, later nalang!"

  "My dad calls at this hour. Your door is not locked, I'll grab it quickly,"

  "I'm shy,"

  "What are you shy for? Remember, I saved you naked, you don't need to be shy Ethan. We're both guys din naman,"

  Jake looked at the time and had the urge to get his phone. He went in covering his eyes. Ethan is on the other side covering himself. He got his phone successfully.

  Ethan has done showering. He went out with his body covered with a towel. Jake is sitting at the table and waiting for his dad to call. Ethan goes closer to him and pat his back.

  "Wag ka mag-alala, tatawag din dad mo,"

  Ethan was about to go to his closet when his towel got caught up in one of the chairs. The towel fell and they both looked at each other slowly. Jake raised his other hand and took a picture of Ethan's naked body.

  Jake started laughing...

  "YAH! Delete that photo right now! Jake! Hoy! Bumalik ka dito,"

  Ethan grabbed his towel and started chasing Jake. When he caught Jake on the bed, he pinned both of his arms. Intense eye contact happened. Little did Ethan know, his towel once fell again.

  "Ethan, you're wet... You're also hard... like rock hard..." Jake saw his pink d*ck and sharp body. His phone rang. Ethan covered his private part and sprinted blushing into his closet with his towel. Jake answered his dad and acted like nothing happened.

  JAKE

  I heard Ethan walking outside of the closet. He goes behind me and pinches my clothes, and pulls it gently.

  "Sorry, I was impulsive earlier,"

  "It's okay,"

  The atmosphere became awkward. No one talks between the two of us. I was reading my book while he observed every second of his existence. Sun was setting. I closed my book and went to the kitchen. As I was heading there, Ethan grabbed my hand gently.

  "Sit, I'll do it, what do you like?" Ethan asked.

  "Anything,"

  "Are you sure?"

  "Yes,"

  I sat on his bed and went to the kitchen, I observed him. From the smell of it, he's making sinigang. He caught me looking at him.

  "Can we watch a movie later?"

  "Tinuligan mo lang yung pinapanood natin kagabi,"

  "My bad, do you want horror?"

  "Can you handle it?"

  Ethan slowly turned his head towards the stove. I can sense the fear in his behavior. He is trembling and sweating. Tignan mo, mago-offer ng horror pero nakalimutan niya na duwag siya dati pa~

  "We're not watching horror Ethan, calm down,"

  After half an hour, he placed our plates and utensils. We ate, and his cooking was not bad. While I was sipping the soup, Ethan asked me about something.

  "Why are you working at the infirmary? Kailan ka ulit mag-aaral?"

  "It's my last year here. Well, it's not finalized yet. They said I was too advanced for the first year and second. I was transferred to a test. I took some of the exams required to pass as a doctor. I pass all of them. For short, I skipped my 2nd year of college. I'll work in the meantime. But like I said. I still have a lot of requirements in order to become a qualified doctor,"

  "Oh, is there any way you can stay here?"

  "Yes,"

  "What's that?"

  "It's not important, let's eat,"

  NARRATOR

  College life has begun for Ethan. Jake treats students at the Infirmary. Every time Ethan was done, he waited for Jake to finish at the infirmary. Sometimes, he asks Jake for help on his assignments. A month went by so fast. They had a healthy friendship.

  JAKE

  Ethan did his routine. Dito siya naghihintay sa sofa sa Infirmary. I was sitting on my chair when he stood up. Ikinagulat ko naman ito.

  "Jake, be right back. Nakalimutan ko yung isa kong book sa room,"

  "Sige, maga-out na din ako, antayin na kita,"

  He nodded and sprinted towards his department.

  It had been half an hour, where is he? He should be here right now. I'll wait, baka hindi niya maalala kung saan niya nailagay ang book niya. I'll clean up a bit.
