Day Before the Ceremony

Lucy's POV

"Oh my Mavis!" I said pacing back and fourth in Levy and Gajeels home. My heart racing in my chest, it is about to explode. "I don't know if I can go through with this. What if they hate me." I started hyperventilating, so many worries fills my mind. What if I'm not as good at running a kingdom as my mother.

Levy walks over to me, grabbing both of my hands, she stares at me dead in my eyes. "Lue, stop worrying about it. They love you enough to demand you be the queen. They love you enough to almost start a riot, due to your lack of presents." She smiles, "they don't hate you. They might hate Natsu, since the future king destroyed the castle, twice."

I laughed at her attempt to comfort me. Sge always knows the right thing to say at the précis moment. I am having a lot of self doubt, I have no knowledge of running a kingdom. The previous time we went there, everyone seems to love me. But what if I can't lead them how the deserve to be led.

"Lue, I need your help," Levy says. Picking up a giant book and tossing it on the table. "We need to pick out the bridesmaid dresses. I can't decide on the colors."

Gajeel proposed to Levy two months ago. Nighteye and I helped him work up enough courage to finally ask her. She was so red, everyone thought she was going to faint or pass out. It was amazing, the timing was right. He bought a book that Levy had been dying to get her hands on, for months. Another he had one specially made. It was about them called, 'All About Us.' He presented it to Levy, she started giggling at the cover. He insisted that she read it. When she did it was all about how they first met, their first adventure, their first kiss. At the end it red that he wanted to start a new adventure with her. She looked up and that's when he proposed.

"Oh why don't you do a sea blue and white." I suggest. Thinking mainly her hair color for the blue. Since the groomsman will already be wearing black, it doesn't matter to much.

She ponders the suggestion. before I knew it two arms wrap around my neck, "thank you Lue, you are the best."

"I would think that's what best friends are for." I laugh and hug her back. Realizing the boys - Gajeel, Natsu and Phoenix - have been gone a lot longer than they should be. "Where do you suppose the boys are?"

Levy looks at the clock, "Oh script, they really have been gone a long time." She leans in closer. "You don't think Phoenix put Gajeel in space again, do you?"

I look back at her concerned. I hope Phoenix didn't, but then again he is Natsu's child. He has only done it one but, still once is enough to get anyone worried. His power has grown a little too. His puny flames grew, and so did the amount of power he can use. "If he did I would think Natsu would have used the teleportation flames to get me."

My answer semi relieved Levy. Soon enough, three males came bursting through the door. Gajeel made his way to Levy, hugging her from behind. When his gaze met mine, he looks scared. "Lucy, what do you feed that kid?"

"W-what do you mean?" I tilted my head in confusion.

Natsu came in shortly after, laughing so hard tears were falling down his cheeks. He was holding Phoenix in his arms. "I can't believe your scared of a baby."

"I am not, you fire breathing dick." Gajeel spat. Knocking his head into Natsu's. I rushed in and grab Phoenix, before thing get ugly.

"Then why when Phoenix gets near you, you run away like a little bitch," Natsu laughs. Holding his sides, as he falls to the floor.

"You would be too, if he opened the universe and blew you in it," trying to sound as manly as possible, but not wanting to admit he really is scared of a baby.
